Theodore Robert Bundy was an American serial killer, kidnapper, rapist, and necrophile who battered and murdered an abundance of young women and girls during the 1970s and earlier. Shortly before his implementation, after more than a decade of disavowals, he confessed to thirty homicides committed in seven states between 1974 and 1978. The true victim count remains unknown, and many believe that it is much higher. Bundy was observed as handsome and charismatic by his young female victims, traits he exploited to win their trust. He typically contacted them in public places, feigning injury or disability, before overshadowing and assaulting them at locations that were more isolated. Female college students and girls between the ages of fifteen and nineteen years old began disappearing at the rate of about one per month. On March 12, Donna Gail Manson, a nineteen-year-old student at the Evergreen State College in Olympia, left her dormitory for a jazz concert on campus but never arrived. On April 17, Susan Elaine Rancourt disappeared while on her way to a movie. These are just two of Ted’s victims, before his arrest on February 12, 1978, he admitted to at least 36 murders, but many speculate that he killed many more. As stated in (The Spokesman-Review, article “The Bundy Case”). Dr. Al Carlisle evaluated Ted after his first arrest in 1975. Dr. Carlisle found that Ted could be charming and friendly while steaming inside. Having taken psychology courses before, Ted knew how to cheat the psychological tests that Dr. Carlisle performed on him. The psychological tests were clean, and Dr. Carlisle stated, “Ted was described as intelligent, high achievement oriented, and he was loyal to a cause”.
