Causes of The American Revolution
The first successful English settlement in North America was established at Jamestown in 1607. In the following years, British settlements in North America had grown into thirteen colonies. The colonies were mainly administrated via London; however, the British were occupied by their own problems, such as ongoing French and Indian wars. Therefore, they granted a large amount freedom to the colonies. The colonist who had been dealing with lot of their own affairs developed certain feeling of independence. However, that feeling was shattered after the French and Indian wars the British raised taxes in American colonies. The revenue was raised by implementation of various Acts to pay off the war debts and to finance British troops in the colonies. With the introduction of these acts, such as Sugar Act or the Stamp Act, started the unrest in the colonies in form of gatherings and organizations which eventually led to the American Revolution. With a specific end goal to contend my case, I will first discuss Sugar and Stamp Acts and the resistance created as response to the British taxation. Then I will talk about the Tea Act and Boston Tea Party, and to wrap things up I will explain Intolerable

Firstly, because the British implementation of the Acts raising revenue in the colonies to pay off the war debt. Secondly, because Britain’s absence in colonial America during the war years made colonies perceive themselves as independent. Thus, they didn’t like not having a say when it came to their own taxes and demanded their own Parliamentary recognition. Moreover, it seems pertinent to remember that true revolution was the change of the colonists’ attitude. In other words, colonists started making claims based on abstract ideas about freedom and natural rights instead of seeing themselves fighting for their rights as the English
Throughout the American revolution, there were many problems that the colonists had with the British. Some of those issues originated from the stamp act crisis. Because of the difficulties in Great Britain in 1764, the British government was short on money from the French and Indian war. The British government needed a way to ameliorate the debt the British government was now in, the Ministers came up with the Greenville acts and later the stamp acts to tax the colonials, this form of taxation was formed to force the colonials to pay their fair share after the war. The Greenville acts were named after Henry Greenville.

The main purpose of these taxes was to help Britain pay for the troops stationed in North America, for British victory in the Seven Year's War.
The American Revolution was a product of British taxation on the colonists. First, the colonists were very upset with Britain after they passed the Stamp Act. The American Revolution was an ongoing controversial topic that is the subject of many debates and historians’ studies. A war that some say was all to blame on the colonists. On the contrary to this belief, this war was to blame on the British due to their irrational acts, laws, and taxes passed. These enacted rules angered many colonists as the acts, in turn, caused bankruptcy for many citizens. The unfair ordinances resulted in a series of bloodshed battles, beginning in 1775 and ending in 1783.
The increase of taxation led to a crisis from colonial people. Riots were established to those who initiated or supported the taxes, stealing everything from some members homes but the foundation and walls. Groups were formed of colonialists who sought liberty, declared the excessive taxation as unconstitutional and fought to protect what they felt were consumer rights. This all lead to the great American revolution in which once the Stamp Act was placed by the parliament, colonial society then produced a stamp act congress to counteract the parliaments decision. This establishment led to the Continental Congress, which eventually separated the colonies from the parliament to then govern themselves and cut ties to the English Crown moving towards
They put taxes on things such as paper, sugar, and even tea, which angered the colonist because they were not will to pay tax without representation in the government. These events ultimately caused the colonist to revolt against the British monarchy and declare its independence. A revolution is a radical change in society and its social structure. The American Revolution was revolutionary because it transformed America politically and socially; however, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness weren’t necessarily improved for the all people in this revolution.
The different acts that were passed to collect taxes angered the colonists little by little until they finally exploded. The Boston Tea Party was a type of protest against one of those taxes. Colonist chose to waste the tea instead of buying it. The colonists were forced to revolt against Britain by all the injustices they made, like the Boston Massacre. British soldiers were not able to hold back their anger and shot 5 people.

The American Revolution was brought to fruition after multiple acts proposed by the British Empire on the Colonies in the New World. There were many acts that lead up to the colonists wanting to become independent, the two most influential were known as the Stamp Act and the Intolerable Acts. The Stamp Act was the first direct tax on the colonies to reprimand the cost of the French and Indian War.

The American colonists had become fed up with the way the British ruled over the colonies, they felt they needed more direct action than what could be provided by the British monarchy that was 3,000+ miles away. A young ship owner brought over a ship full of taxed tea from Britain and declared he would see it unloaded ... Boston Tea Party, 1774 another cause of the American Revolution. The colonists decided they would see none of the tea leave the ship. A group of colonists dressed as American Indians boarded the ship at night and threw the tea overboard into the harbor, ruining all of it.
The Revolution was caused by the British and their taxes. The british just taxed the colonists to gain more wealth, and it wasn’t because they really needed the money for important things. The colonists were tired of the british making them spend extra money on things that they had felt were essential for life such as paper and tea. Because of this, they revolted. The beginning of the revolution had many factors in what caused it. The American Revolution was the 13 colonies revolting against the British. The British King, King George the III, wanted everything. King George the III really pushed the limit when he demanded he get a piece of everything (tax). This was the first revenue act passed by Parliament, American Duties Act of 1764, known as the Sugar Act.

At the time, England controlled nearly all aspects, mostly the political and economic, of the colonial lives. Their purpose was to strengthen England. The colonies wanted the freedom from all of the control because they were doing fine without England.
The French and Indian War was important to the American Revolution because the debt from the war was the reason that Parliament started taxing the colonists. Also, the French and Indian War made Britain very weak, making the colonists’ actions work a whole lot better. Since France was not happy with the outcome of their war with Britain this was a main reasons for France’s interest in helping the now Americans throughout the Revolutionary War, which was very important to the colonies’ victory. The reason why Britain started to tax the colonists was because of the debt resulting from the French and Indian War. The first tax was the the tax on sugar, which was put on the colonists to help pay off the war debt.

Many historians would agree that the Revolution was caused by events and the growing differences between the colonists and England. The cause of the American Revolution could be summarized in the saying ‘liberty vs. tyranny’. The American Revolution was a struggle by liberty-loving Americans to free themselves from a dictatorial British rule. In this period, the Colonies protested against the British Empire and entered into the American Revolutionary War, also known as the American War of Independence.
