The Role Of George Washington In The Age Of Revolution

Washington's administration contributed to the victory of the American Revolution since his victories at Trenton and Princeton made further men join the fight for independence. Georgia Washington was defeated in New York because Britain had more manpower with 45,000 soldiers and the America's 28,000. The morale of the Patriots was small because of the defeat. George Washington's victory at Trenton and Princeton gave much more power of New Jersey and Pennsylvania to the Western, which helped boost the morale of the army. Washington was pulling two victories after those failures, it gave them faith again, maintaining to bring in new soldiers.

George Washington grew up in a time when we were still owned by England. As he was growing up he learned English customs, they liked tea and had one ruler that had total control over the country. He worked on the farm and helped around the house all day. He helped Britain win the Ohio Valley, against the French. As he got older the Stopped helping Britain and started fighting for freedom.

George Washington plays a very important part in the American Revolution. Throughout the Revolutionary war, he was ordered by Congress to be the commander in chief of the Continental Army. Washington had little experience in leading such a big army. Although he actually showed that he was actually able to control and lead the Continental Army. George Washington and his army won battles like the Battle of Yorktown in 1781 and the Battle of Trenton in 1776.

This is when the revolutionary war began. Washington with his military experience became the general of the continental army. Although Washington lost most wars he motivated his men. His most remembered battle is the battle of Trenton in which he ambushed the Hessians and took over a British camp.

George Washington in the French and Indian War George Washington has lived and worked with the world’s most respected philosophers, writers, and inventors, such as Benjamin Franklin, Samuel Adams, and Thomas Jefferson. He was not as intellectual as other founders due to the lack of education, yet because of Washington’s remarkable personality, he was known as the Father of the Country. George Washington was a pivotal figure in the French and Indian War and this military experience has helped develop his character.

George Washington was significant because of all of the impacts he has made to the United states. Washington had a big impact on creating The Whisky Rebellion, with that being a big impact it was also social,political, and economic. The whiskey rebellion happened to everyone. Washington came part in this rebellion because of all the money he knew that was going to come back with him with everyone's taxes. Washington wanted to make everyone pay the same amount of money in taxes.

He was a big part of this country and still is to this day. The USA wouldn’t be like this if he wouldn’t have been here. George Washington could trace his family’s presence in North America to his great grandfather, John Washington, who moved from England to Virginia.

Now that Colonies have united as one and officially broken from the British for the chance to be independent; now was the time to establish its own laws and regulation. For the first time, America was developing a government that would be the foundation to America’s government. The population was on a steadily increase with cities filling up with over 15,000 people. People were looking for a government, and future President George Washington had the perfect plan.

During the New Nation period, the policies that Washington established in his presidency helped the country as a union. The internal affairs and policies that George Washington put in place during his presidency helped to strengthen the stability of the country. SInce George washington was the first president; him and congress had to establish the judicial branch. Especially since, the Constitution very vaguely discussed any of the aspects of judiciary system accepted that there will always be a Supreme Court of the United States, but that was the intention of the framers. In 1789, congress passed the Judiciary act of 1789, and the act establish lower courts to hear federal cases.

From making decisions regarding an entire country, to deciding whether to pursue personal dreams, many difficult decisions have been made in the past. There are many examples in history where the results of not acting are greater and far more devastating than those of a failed chance. Although the outcome is sometimes unknown, taking a chance is essential to create many opportunities. When America was first established, president George Washington had a difficult decision to make regarding rebellious southerners-sending troops would address the issue, but there was a risk that the country would fight against the government’s power.

After leading the continental army to an improbable victory over the world's most powerful empire, Washington faced another daunting challenge to transform ink on parchment into the actually of the American presidency. The power of the modern presidency is not defined by the constitution. It's defined by the Washington presidency. Although unrelatable and underappreciated in the eyes of modern history, George Washington shows his greatness through his character. Contemporary culture often neglects to recognise Washington’s greatness. Sadly, he has become a figure so far removed from the ideals and lives of modern Americans, that his name often provokes boredom. Nonetheless, his character proved to be perfect for what America needed during his life. His greatness was largely due to chance.

The American Revolution seems to be a lot more that just a war for the independence of the nation as it was also a revolt against taxes & the numerous trade regulations that were imposed. The American Revolutionary war was truly one of the 1st modern revolutions, which enjoyed a prevalent popular support from other countries all over the world. It seems to be the first time in history where people fought for the independence of their country in the name of certain universal principles of civil & human rights. The founding fathers of the United States of America seemed to have wanted to live in a country where the people could make decision for themselves, due to which they were concerned with the future of their country and thus wanted to take numerous steps for its betterment. George Washington is one of the most influential people of the American Revolution merely because he was able to show his true integrity, solidarity & leadership.

So how was a major figure in the American Revolution?
