P6 review physiological data collected, describing the effects of exercise on the musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory and energy systems
Cooper Run
The first test I did was the Cooper twelve minute test. This tests ones endurance. Advantages of this test is that you don’t need a lot of equipment, it is simple to set up and do so this won’t take up too much time. More than one person can do the test and one time. The athlete doing the test can be run by themselves. Disadvantages of the test are that a four hundred metre track is required and an assistant is required to help with the test.
I think this test is a reliable test for what you want to find out. I think my areas for improvement are that I could have run more, some of the laps I walked because I was very tired. It was hard to record your heart rate during the cooper run as you were concentrating on the running. Mo Farah is a sporting

The only issues on the day was that we had done the Cooper Run before so my body was tired. The type of athlete that would use this test would be someone like Louis Smith who is a British gymnast. This tests is specific to him because he has to be very flexible and be able to perform to his best ability
Illinois agility test
The third test we did was the Illinois agility test. This tests agility. The advantages of this test is that not a lot of equipment is required. It is a simple test to set up and conduct. This test can be administered by the athlete and it can be conducted almost anywhere. A disadvantage of this test is that an assistant is required.
I could improve on this test by doing it more often. On the day we had done the Cooper Run so I was tired form that which would have affected my performance. Someone who could use this test could be a hockey player like Barry Middleton because he needs to be fast and to have good agility as they change direction quickly.
One repetition
What I mean by that is, as excepted with an increase in secondary task in condition four my average was the highest meaning it took me the longest because my attentional demands had changed. A result I was not excepting was getting the same average for condition one and three. As stated earlier my trails in condition three were all over the place. It would be interesting to redo condition three and see if my times would still be all over the place or would be different. Also, comparing condition three results with the other students in my class and see if they had a similar experience.
Hello, I am Ryan Judge, and I have developed (with a group) a 6-week program to train a client for a 5k. A 5k is 3.1 miles, so it is an endurance run, something that is not meant to be done fast. In this essay, I am going to tell you about the fashion of our training program, and why me made it the way it is. The client that we made our 6-week training program for is a 13 year-old girl with no medical history.
Two other things that you can measure to get a better idea of the athletes biofeedback is heart rate and galvanic skin repose, sweating. You can use a combination of devices to look at neuromuscular re-education and follow with musculoskeletal injury.
Step 5 Pass a physical exam that includes push-ups, sit-ups, and a step test. In your first fitness test you will need to complete 20 push-ups under 1 minute, 25 sit-ups under 1 minute, and 120 steps per minute for 5 minutes. Note: If passed there will be a second physical test. This test will consist of running 220 yards under 46 seconds, 20 push-ups under 1 minute, 25 sit-ups under a minute, and finally be able to run 1.5 miles under 15 minutes.
This will give me an idea of Chris 's range of motion as well as a good start point to work on and later show range of motion and flexibility increases as the training continues. For a cardio endurance test I feel that a 12-minute walk/run test will help me determine the cardiovascular level of fitness that Chris has. For a Strength and Endurance test I think that the push up test is a good assessment for upper body strength and endurance.
The grading scale will vary every day depending on the objective. Students are being graded on how fast they can run a mile, but this is unfair to those who are genuinely trying but just cannot meet that standard. Cheryl Richardson, senior director of programs for the Society of Health and Physical Educators or SHAPE, says, "You should not be graded on how fast you can run a mile. The grading scheme should be based on the process, not the product. "(Amos)
They would have to examine the practical portion for each test taker. In 2007, the BOC was completely moved to an online exam, and removed the practical portion. Continuing education requires athletic trainers to stay up to date with current research to help them in the field (Konin & Ray,
Every gymnastic competition requires a set of medical tests to be done in order to prove that gymnasts are healthy and can compete. These tests help prove that athletes have no cardiovascular diseases and that their bodies are strong enough to let them perform the rigorous stunts that are in their routines. In the nature of the sport, mild injuries are expected, but when athletes start breaking bones at the end of a competition, the athlete and coach is put to blame. An athlete can be diagnosed with a sprain, but will be allowed to compete; chances are that during the competition the sprain will turn into something much worse, like a muscle tear, which can end careers in some cases. In other cases, a gymnast can be suffering from an eating
My point of view of the test is placing problems to the test. If the four way test can be applied to everyday problems, how would people use it, would it be for good or for
As a result, giving candidates physical test is a proportionate way of achieving legitimate

This requirement was reestablished in 1995 as part of the California Assessment of Academic Achievement Act, and in 1996, the SBE designated FITNESSGRAM® as the required physical fitness test (California Department of Education, 2013) a component included in the physical education program. In 2007, the California legislature (Senate Bills 78 and 601) passed a law that took effect in 2009 (Education Code Section 60800) requiring all California students to pass five of six physical fitness tests (PFTs) or “face the possibility of repeating physical education class until they passed or they graduated” (Peaceful Playgrounds, n.d., para. 5 ). The California State Board of Education designated the FITNESSGRAM® by the Cooper Institute and NFL Play60 as PFTs; along with the adoption of the Healthy Fitness Zones (HFZs) standards set for the body max index (BMI) and aerobic capacity testing. The FITNESSGRAM® is part of the state-mandated categorical program monitoring process that is required to be administered to all California public pupils in grades 5, 7, and 9 during the testing window, February through May. California school districts are required to present information to the School Accountability Report Card, which provides data about a school’s student achievement, environment, resources, and demographics (Education Code sections 33126 and
According to the normative data for the bleep test my results were poor for a male between the ages of 14-16 indicating that I have plenty of room for improvement in terms of aerobic endurance. Footballers need to have a high level of aerobic endurance as in football players are required to run fairly long distances repeatedly, for this the body should work at a level that the demands for oxygen can meet the body’s intake. From my results in the bleep test I have quite a few strengths and many weaknesses with
When introduced with this assignment, I instantly wanted to picked my parents due to them being of an older generation. However, they’re two hours away so instead I begged my significant other, Codey, to be my guinea pig. In order to convert this assignment into a work out adventure together, Codey and I travelled to Mission Peak. This hike incorporated different leg work outs and arm raises with weights. Finally, we ended with various arm stretches while walking back to our vehicle with a debate of who was showering first based on who sweated the most.
