Which liquid can inflate a balloon faster?

When I was a child I have always been doing this project but not learning the educational purposes behind it. So I decided to learn the real science behind it. Another reason why I thought it would be cool to do this project is because I thought it would be cool if I did where I can substitute chemicals to inflate a balloon. So, I came up with the question which liquid can inflate a balloon faster. First Alexis is going to talk about the independent variable why and what substances Alexis will be using. The reason Alexis will be using. The reason why Alexis will be using different substances is to see which chemicals can blow up a balloon faster. The liquids Alexis will be using lemon juice, water, vinegar and baking soda ( mixed together). …show more content…

My hypothesis is that if the baking soda and the vinegar then can potentially mix together with the air that is already in there and start to inflate.
Now Alexis is going to talk about why this is a good experiment. Alexis feels like this is a good experiment because of using dangerous air you can use safer chemicals that are safer to your lungs.
Now Alexis is going to talk about what she thinks is going to happen during this experiment. Alexis thinks that over time the acids are going to settle down because of how long they been in there if she gives them a long a period of time. Lastly, Alexis is going to talk about why she thinks this project relates to the real world. Recently Alexis heard that helium (the air we blow up balloons with) is running out and she heard that helium is bad for your lungs. We should start to blow up balloons with chemicals instead of using air that is running out or dangerous to your
