Do you believe Adnan Syed is Innocent or Guilty? Well, I believe Adnan Syed is Innocent. So, you will be reading and thinking about all the characters in this story. My story will explain why Adnan Syed is Innocent. They loved each other, I personally don’t think Adnan would’ve killed Hae Min Lee because they’ve been together for a while. Also, Adnan has a very, very strict religion that he broke just to date Hae so just think about it why would he kill Hae Min Lee. “As a good Muslim, he was not supposed to be dating, He was sacrificing his religion and lying to his family”. I mean, why would Adnan even try to kill her at all he broke his religion and lied to his family so why?. “ I mean I loved her, I still -- I just have a great deal of …show more content…
But I, seriously doubt Adnan would kill her. And, if Adnan didn’t kill her then they shoulds give him a chance to make himself clear, If he didn’t kill Hae then we need to put this case to rest for once and for all. “ If he didn’t kill Hae, then we owe it to him to try to make this clear, and if he didn’t kill Hae, then we have to put this case to rest.” Well I put this quote in here just to make sure you guys understand they didn’t give him a chance to make himself clear at court. “ Maybe Adnan really is innocent.” there is a lot of parts where they said that Adnan Syed is innocent, For example Because if he was in the library that equals innocent ,Asia says he’s innocent, i would says he’s innocent. “ Saad Chaudry thinks Adnan is innocent”. A lot of people made him look innocent which of course I believe he’s innocent. (S1.ep1.pg27.), (S1. ep6 .pg 108.) (S1.ep 1 …show more content…
Jay did a testimony about what happened with their breakup, but can we really trust jay on this? (He has lied about 3 times or maybe even more who knows). I don’t buy Adnan's motive to kill Hae. Because not one person said he was acting strange. Also Hae and Adnan were still friends. “ Okay, so no one actually testified at trial that they saw Hae and Adnan leave school together.” So nobody saw them leave together, that’s some evidence that Adnan didn’t kill Hae. Also some people said “They’re still friendly; several people said they couldn’t tell or didn’t know that Hae and Adnan broke up.” so basically they were still pretty close after their breakup so honestly there is no motive that Adnan would have used to kill Hae. (S1.ep2.pg.40),
My verdict for Adnan’s Syed on the act on to see if he can testify about to see if he is innocent and I'll tell you why. My first piece of evidence is that Adnan did have an, ex-girlfriend but things got worse. When time goes on Adnan was charged with a human killing towards his high school ex-girlfriend and got sentenced to 17 years in an institution and this is why. Adnan strangled his ex-girlfriend to death because he was not showing joy in Hae Min Lee because she was was getting a new boyfriend. The detectives needed to find the murderer who killed Hae Min Lee, and if the investigators need strong informal evidence, then the investigators can put charges on Adnan.
This story is interesting because at some points you’re like Adnan is innocent and at others you’re like ohh….this could mean he’s guilty. I believe Adnan Syed is innocent because no forensic evidence was ever tested and used in trial. Also summer (last person in contact with Hae) claims that Hae couldn’t have been there at the time the state says she was murdered. The first reason i believe Adnan is innocent is that no forensic evidence was ever tested nor used in trial.
or did he murder Hae Min Lee. Based on the collaboration and the very little forensic and physical evidence, I feel that he is not guilty. The timeline, the call records, Jay’s story, and the possible alibes of Adnan Syed all show that he wasn’t guilty. Many
“I just sometimes wish they could look into my brain and see how I really felt about her. Whatever the motivation is to kill someone, I had absolutely-- it didn't exist in me,” Adnan said (Koenig, “The Alibi”). He explains in a way that will make people pity or sympathize him. He wants people to look past the bigger picture and believe he never could’ve done this act by being strategic with his word choice. Adnan believes since the case faded out “No one ever has been able to provide any shred of evidence that I had anything but friendship toward her,” (Koenig, “The Alibi”).
Justin and Adnan, both in jail, and both are serving a sentence for a crime that the link is a witness who's trying to get a lesser punishment by testifying they were in it either by word or actually helping. The jury's first judgement, guilty. But now, 10 years later, they rethink whether they are guilty or innocent and if he is innocent. Did they ruin an innocent man's life? Justin Wolfe was "convicted of murder and sentenced to death."
Have you ever had a fight with your siblings because they accused you of breaking something in the house? How would you feel if it wasn’t just breaking something small in the house, but rather the killing of another person? In the Serial podcast, an 18 year old high school Muslim boy, Adnan, was accused of murdering his Korean ex-girlfriend, Hae. His accuser was his 19 year old friend, Jay. Serial goes through the alibis that were presented and weren’t present at the trial.
On February 9th, 1999, Hae Min Lee’s body was found buried in a shallow grave in Leakin Park––death by strangulation. Later that year, an innocent man by the name of Adnan Syed was convicted on an extremely shaky case for the murder of this young girl. However incriminating the call records may appear at first glance, Adnan Syed, with an alibi to prove his innocence, had no motive to kill Hae Min Lee. To put it simply, Adnan Syed had no reason to murder Hae. After the couple split up, multiple witnesses confirmed that Adnan did not seem to be ridiculously or unusually upset; it was merely another high school breakup.
If our judicial system still believes that someone is innocent until proven guilty, then Adnan has to be innocent, because they did not prove him
A psychologist, I can’t seem to remember his name, mentioned that when someone commits a murder they experience amnesia and say they didn’t do it and don’t remember doing it when they have the weapon in their hand. He said that this might have happened in Adnan’s case, he committed the murder and completely forgot, but again, there’s no physical evidence on the victim proving that Adnan was the one who murdered her. We also need to consider the release of Ronald Lee Moore just 2 weeks prior to Hae’s murder. His previous victim being a Korean girl as well. Maybe it was a coincidence that he was released and the strangulation prints on Hae were possibly from Moore.
McClain claims that she was with Syed at the time of the murder, and she provided letters and affidavits to support her story. The testimony of Jay was unreliable and inconsistent, while Asia McClain's testimony was consistent and supported by physical evidence. The evidence against Adnan is largely circumstantial therefore, it is reasonable to conclude that Adnan Syed is not guilty of the
Especially during the process of gathering evidence so long as Adnan remained the guilty party throughout the murder investigation. It was easy to attack his Pakistani heritage and the fact that he was the most recent ex-boyfriend. One of the very first suspects was the man, Mr. S, who “discovered” Hae’s body in the park. Mr. S was a maintenance worker
Currently, Adnan Syed is serving life sentence of the murder of Hae. Some say that the evidence provided by this case does not give a solid conclusion that Adnan Syed killed Hae, while others say that the evidence gives substantial proof that Adnan is the killer. Racial profiling and a lack of attention to significant evidence caused Adnan Syed to receive an unfair trial of murdering
Putting these circumstances aside, it was said by many that the relationship was pretty typical and Adnan got over the breakup easily. This was said by teachers and friends of both Hae and Adnan. One of Hae’s friends, Becky, explained the relationship as “just a silly, teenage, high school, relationship” (Koenig “The Breakup”) which proves that Adnan was not as upset as the prosecution made him out to be at trial. Another notable aspect is that after Hae and Adnan broke up, Hae got in a small car accident and asked Adnan to come help her, her new boyfriend Don also showed up and confirms that him and Adnan had a cordial meeting and explains that they talked for 10 to 15 minutes even after the car situation had been figured out (Koenig “What We Know”). If Adnan was really that broken up about the breakup, he would not have been so friendly towards the new guy who seemed to take his place in Hae’s life.
This proves that Adnan was the one who killed her. Jay and Adnan both committed a serious crime. Adnan killed Hae with the help from
Of course, many people think Adnan Syed is guilty of murdering Hae by contradicting himself, by saying, “I am in here for my own mistakes.” He might have been on the edge of confessing his guilt until Sarah caught this and asked what he meant, and quickly recovers from his mistake. Adnan also slips his tongue by saying that he wants people to only look at the evidence, and not his personality. If I were convicted of a crime I would certainly like to have my personality be looked at, if I were innocent. So they could see what good I have done.
