Being in the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) class with Ms.Pennington is always interesting. We attend class every morning during the week from 9:00am.m to 11:30am. The main thing that we work on is all the procedures we need for the residents. But we also work on how to keep the resident safe, and comfortable. Being in the CNA class helps us move forward in the medical field. If we pass we have the opportunity to help others, and help ourselves. Doing clinical’s for CNA is an important aspect of the class. We have to have 72 recorded hours that is mandated by the state. We have to have 30 mandated hours of in-class learning.
