Book Reports On Night By Elie Wiesel

I’ll be talking about a book called “Night” it's about a jewish boy who goes threw the holocaust with his father. I will be talking about how food was a big part throughout the book and how they struggle to get it and how they use it to get thing or they give things to get it. In the beginning of the book it talks about how food is a big part but in the beginning it didn’t seem to hard in fact it talks about how each and every day they had bread and soup for the day. In the book it almost sounded easy to get it but it also talks about how they had to work to get the food they had.

The book I chose to read was Night by Elie Wiesel. It is an autobiography. Elie Wiesel is a Jewish American who went through the Nazi Concentration Camps during the Holocaust. He is an author, professor and an activist. He was born on September 30th, 1928 in Sighet, Transylvania.

This essay is over the book called night by Elie Wiesel. The book is about Elie Wiesel who was sent to auschwitz concentration camp during world war 2 with his family. It is also about what he saw and experienced. My first example is when he sees the jews being thrown into the fire and beaten. They were barely feed and lived in horrible conditions.

Night is a book written by the author and nobel peace prize winner Elie Wiesel. It is not a fictions book, but it is a life story. In the book, the people are not characters, but true people whom our author met and knew during this time. Elie Wiesel was alive during the Holocaust as a Jew forced to live in ghetto. The book is told from his perspective, and tells what happens at the largest concentration camp, auschwitz.

In the memoir of Elie Wiesel, “Night” it tells his experience during the holocaust. Elie Wiesel changed from a spiritual, sensitive little boy to a spiritually dead unemotional man because before the holocaust he had a good life and family. Then during the Holocaust he lost everything and was poorly treated. Before the Holocaust Wiesel had a good life and had fun. He would go to school and believed in God.

The book is narrated by himself who is a teenager with a Jewish background. He lived in a town called Siget in Transylvania with his mother, father and his three sisters. The Jewish people had to wear yellow stars .One day the town he lived in was forced to move into ghettos and then eventually moved into small ghettos.

In class we read the nonfiction book, Night by Elie Wiesel. It is a story about Elie, as a young teen, being a victim of the Holocaust and the gruesome situations he been in. In the book Elie says, “The world is not interested in us” (Wiesel 33). I believe that this statement is true. The world did not do anything to save the Jewish people and just observed them being treated like objects.

The book Night is based on a true story; it is based on the Holocaust and Elie Wiesel, who is a survivor of the Holocaust. It is important not to forget about the Holocaust because it was a horrific time when Jews were tortured. Jews should not have been tortured in such an unforgivable way. They were just normal people and did not hurt anyone. Elie tells his story about how the Nazi officers took him and his family from their houses and separated him from his mother and sister.

Elie Wiesel: Elie Wiesel is the author of Night, his famous memoir of his terrifying and tragic experiences during the Holocaust. He was 15 years old when he and his family were deported to Auschwitz, the notorious Nazi death camp and symbol of genocide and terror. His mother and younger sister died there, while his two older sisters survived. Wiesel and his father were later transported to Buchenwald, where his father died shortly before the camp was liberated in April of 1945. Elie Wiesel was born in 1928 in the town of Sighet, now part of Romania.

The subject is the overall main topic of a book, therefore the subject in night is the holocaust. Night by Elie Wiesel is a book about what the went through during the holocaust. The book takes the reader through the holocaust in a way. The book has a way of describing how the holocaust was. He writes about what he has been through and all the people he met along the way.

Eliezer Wiesel, also known as Elie, was born on September 30th 1928 in Sighetu Marmatiei, the Kingdom of Romania (Hungary at that time) - July 2, 2016 in Boston, Massachusetts, is a philosopher, writer, Jewish political and humanitarian activist and author of many books. " Night", which was written in 1960 is his memoir of those years living in Nazi concentration camp during the First World War when he was under the age of fifteen, a book honoring the 1986 Nobel Peace Prize. The love is real in any situation, throughout the book is the story that Elie witnessed and what had happened to him during his years in the concentration camp and in those cruel situations. The love between humans in this world is warm, sometimes fragile or is distorted

---Rough Draft--- While we probably all know that the Holocaust was a horrible stain on the fabric of society, Elie Wiesel's book shows that the acts of the Nazi's are more horrible towards the Jews than some of us may have been led to believe. Elie originates from a town known as Sighet located in what was previously known as Transylvania. Though Sighet was not part of Germany or Hungary, they were still abused by the SS soldiers, by trapping them in fenced off ghettos. They also soon transported them in a terrible cattle car ride, and treated them like slaves. But the meat of the story takes place in the concentration camp(s), where they are given minimal amounts of food and judged like dogs to see if they are worth keeping.

To be Human How does one remain himself as everything he has ever known is ripped away from him? Elie Wiesel recalls his own experiences with this challenge in his self written book, Night. In this book, Wiesel takes you on a eye opening ride to see and experience the hard life of Jewish people under German Control. Wiesel shows how to accomplish the nearly impossible, surviving.

By the end of the story Elie has little compassion left, only for his family members. Compassion also affected other characters like Mrs. Schacter and the Blockaleste. Characters have used compassion in order to help each other survive but having a lack of compassion also has effect on

(Wiesel 82). Elie is heartbroken when this event occur because throughout the whole story Elie’s role model was his father and to see him get beaten made him lose hope. During their times in the camp the suffering laid upon on both Elie and his father made them give up on themselves and feel like they didn’t have a chance to make it out or survive. This was shown once again in depth when Elie said to himself, “Were there still miracles on this earth?” (Wiesel 76).
