Also in my opinion a big aspect of a person's character is what they do when nobody is watching them, who they really are. Morality is the differentiation of intentions, decisions, and actions between distinguished as proper and those that are improper. I think these two qualities were very impactful on my decision whether Captain Madwell’s actions were justified in the story.
