John Adams was arguably one of the most influential leaders in America between 1607 and 1840. He was born on October 30, 1735 in Braintree, MA and died in July 4, 1826 in Quincy, MA. During his life he was a lawyer, politician and diplomat for the United States, then he eventually became the second president of the United States. There were many influences that John Adams was able to contribute over the years therefore, he is known as the “founding father.” Some of the things that John Adams contributed to the United States was the help to led the colonies through the war by gaining the support of the French, defending the soldiers in the Boston Massacre, argued against major tax acts before the start of the War, and negotiated the ‘Treaty of Paris,’ which ended the Revolutionary War. As a result of all the accomplishments that John Adams had made he has shown that he is an important person in American history.

John Adams help lead the colonies through the Revolutionary War from 1775 to 1783. During the war, John Adams served as a diplomat to the European people to be able to help the colonists.
