The Second Amendment had made a big impact in the U.S. The Second Amendment stated “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the to security of a free state , the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” Many citizens do not support the second amendment or as known as Anti-Federalists. Anti-Federalists is anyone who doesn’t support anything in the constitution. But it needs to be supported by the citizens to keep yourself safe.

Gun Rights in America The Second Amendment of the Bill of Rights grants Americans the right to bear arms. Opinions of this vary, but I believe the safety of ourselves and posterity are above all. Criminals throughout the US take advantage of this privilege and use weapons for violence and evil purposes that should be unspeakable to our world, such as murder, robbery, and torture. Owning rifles or pistols ourselves is the only way to counter these treacheries.

The Bill of Rights is the collective name for the first ten amendments. The second amendment protects the right to bear arms to Americans, but is this amendment still viable today? Well before America fought for its independence, the right to bear arms was given freely to English settlers.

The 2nd Amendment to the United States Constitution should be amended not repealed. The problem that we are having in America is people are misusing guns. It seems easy for me to understand that we should set some rules and limitations on what a person has the right to own, carry, and use. Keeping track of intense powered weapons made to kill people isn’t the same thing as getting rid of and banning all weapons and getting rid of the 2nd amendment. Three reasons why the second amendment shouldn’t be repealed is because number one, the 2nd amendment is important to prevent the government from posing a threat.

In conclusion, I believe the Second Amendment is partly suitable for modern society in the United States considering the militia to provide security. However, in my opinion there 's a great issue with gun control in America and something needs to be changed. The deaths of minors and adults have become too numerous to excuse it as exceptions. Something has to happen and this part of the second Amendment goes the wrong way with that.
