The skulls of Beeks and Miller were recovered in Dahmer’s apartment when he was arrested. 1991 was the fall of Dahmer, however, it was also the most deadly year. On March 7, he picked up Curtis Straughter, age 18, at a bus stop and offered him money to go home with him. This is the first time that Jeffrey switch up the routine of his murder. This time, he drugged Slaughter prior to having sex and killing him.

Steven Hicks was a 19 year old last seen hitchhiking to a rock concert in Chippewa Lake Park when he was brutally murdered. The suspect was later found that he brought Hicks to his home, where he got him drunk, and upon Hicks trying to escape was when he was hit among the head with a ten pound dumbbell. Further investigation found that Hicks’ body was dismembered, having his bones crushed by a sledgehammer and scattered outside the house; also he left the flesh to be found by police underneath the house three years after the murder. This suspect would be later revealed as Jeffrey Dahmer. Jeffrey Dahmer was an American serial killer who committed rape, murder, torture, and the dismemberment of 17 innocent boys between 1978 and 1991.

On the night of July 22, 1991, Milwaukee enforcement officers took notice of a man running and stumbling down the street. When confronted, he said that a man had threatened him with a butcher’s knife. After arriving at Jeffrey Dahmer’s apartment, Dahmer allowed the police to search the apartment. When the officials entered, they were hit with a putrid odor and had discovered various body parts scattered about his apartment that belonged to 11 of his victims, as well as Polaroid pictures of his victims' post-mortem in indecent poses. Dahmer was arrested on sight and taken into custody (“Serial Killers”).

In 1989, Dahmer had a lucky escape from the law after encountering a 13-year-old Laotian boy which led him to be convicted of sexual exploitation and second-degree sexual assault. He pleaded guilty to these charges stating that the boy looked over 18. In March of 1989, while awaiting his trial, he lured, strangled, sodomized, photographed, dismembered, and disposed of an aspiring model named Anthony Spears and multiple other young boys. During his trial, he was sentenced to one year in prison, for which he would have been charged more but he promised to change and enter into rehabilitation programs. After he was released from prison, he developed routines and started to experiment with disposing of bodies using chemical means and eating the flesh and organs of his victims.

In the early 1990s, Dahmer would be caught after authorities were tipped off by one of Dahmer's would-be victims who was able to narrowly escape from Dahmer's capture. When Dahmer was a young child he had what was called a “normal childhood”, however, as he got older he became very withdrawn and uncommunicative with society.

Jeffery Dahmer also known as the Milwaukee cannibal was a notorious sex offender in America. He was charged for rape and murder of 17 young boys. Dahmer would also eat the parts of the young boys after he had killed them. What lead Dahmer to turn out like this? There are a several different theories that would fit in.

Introduction Worldwide Jeffery Dahmer was acknowledged as a brutal horrific killer. These murders were caused by many issues that he had, including: his childhood, cannibalism, manipulation, and attachment issues. Between 1978 and 1991 Jeffery was committing killings around his home in the Oxford Apartment block considered the black community. “When arrested FBI found seven human skulls, two human hearts, a bag of organs, and numerous severed body parts were among the atrocities they uncovered at the home where he killed 12 of his victims” (Caitlin Hornik, 2022, p.1). Dahmer was finally arrested on July 22, 1991…two years later, Dahmer was killed at the age of 34 by fellow inmate Christopher Scarver (Jeffrey Dahmer Murdered in Prison, 2010).

While living here, he was involved with law enforcement three times. Once for disorderly conduct, indecency, and one last time for masturbating infront of young boys. He was only given a year of probation after the incident with the young boys (Jeffery Dahmer). Studies after Dahmer's case showed that his household could have contained neglect. His way of murder was related back to how he was treated as a child, and the way his childhood was seen.

Every article, report and case study about Dahmer always says the same thing; he was a withdrawn young man who had a drinking and no friends. His father thought something was wrong with him and his grandmother who also thought his behavior was strange and at one point

there was a awful smell coming from his apartment. He had invited a police officer into his house to have a drink, the officer smelled something grossed later they came back and put him into custody. The officers had gone through boxes to find disturbing things in there such as: human heads and three bags of organs, chemicals skulls, painted skulls, skeleton, dried scalp, tools various videos blood soaked mattress and blood splatters and a King James Bible and they went through box after box collecting evidence. Jeffrey Dahmer was only charged with fifteen murders. He pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
