Soon after the robbery, they started going on crime sprees. When their sprees first started, a gunman had joined them but he left a little while after joining them. Bonnie and Clyde usually had someone or a gang with them, except on their final days. Clyde’s brother and his wife was two of people that joined them for a while on their sprees. While they were going on the sprees they robbed, stole, and murdered.

Their crime spree lasted “21 months” (John Philips 4).

The Truth About Jesse James Have you ever heard of Jesse James and his gang of bank robbers that were one of the best and most precise banks and train robbery gangs in the 1860s-1870s. A vigilante is a self-appointed person who undertakes law enforcement without the legal authority of doing so, typically because they believe the authorities of the law are inadequate(Vigilante). Jesse James does not deserve the image of a vigilante that works outside of the law to serve and protect the people simply because he is a murderer and a thief. He was the son of Robert and Zerelda James, he was the third of four children. His father robert was a slave owning farmer who was also a Baptist Priest. Jesse had three siblings a brother named Robert who sadly died in infancy, an older brother named Frank and a younger sister named Susan. His family owned a hundred acre farm. Jesse helped his family in the fields and on the farm, after Robert Jesse’s father left, Zerelda his mother kinda took over everything, she had to raise all of the children including helping the slaves with their children and also taking care of the slaves.
