In the play Julius Caesar, Caesar was a hero for the people of Rome. He had just come back from war after heroically winning a battle. The people of Rome praise Caesar and offer him the crown. He denies it not once, not twice, but thrice times. The amount of self-pride Caesar has leads the conspirators, Marcus Brutus, Cassius and a few more men, to plot against Caesar in order to stop his power. In fact, the plan to stop Caesar follows an unforeseen path. The conspirators wanted to overthrow Caesar because they were suspicious over Caesar’s growing power and were afraid he would ruin Rome. They make a plan to kill Caesar. However, there is a dilemma that arises with the plan; whether to kill Marc Antony, a close friend of Caesar, with Caesar
