Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta Georgia. His parents were Martin Luther King sr. and Alberta Williams King He was second of three children, and was named Michael after his father. He first attended David T. Howard elementary, then Booker T. Washington HIgh School, where he was quarterback for a football team. In 1945 he entered Atlanta’s Morehouse college. Martin Luther King Jr. had good events and bad events in his middle life. His greatest accomplishment in his life is his “I have a Dream” speech. He talked about how he wanted black girls and boys to be treated the same way as white girls and boys.
