Who is Martin Luther King “ I have a dream”. This is one of his most well known speeches. He was the one led the march on Washington, he used nonviolent ways to help everyone have equal civil rights. This man was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia and died on April 4, 1968 in Memphis, TN. He was in charge of the African-American Civil Rights Movement. Martin Luther King Jr was a very good man he helped people get equal civil rights, he led the march on Washington, and he nonviolently helped get people civil rights. Martin Luther King Jr was an American Baptist minister, a humanitarian, and a leader in the African-American Civil Rights movement. He was a good man. He helped many people. He is an inspiration to many people.He inspires me in many ways. Some of those ways are: he help others, he was kind to everyone, even the people who hated him, and he was nonviolent in many ways. This inspires me because, sometimes I am not nice or kind to the people who are mean to me, but I am trying to be nicer to people because of his inspiration to me. He was able to gather hundreds of people to help fight for civil rights for everyone in a nonviolent way. He led the March on Washington, the Montgomery Bus Boycott, he told inspiring speeches like the I have a Dream Speech and the Montgomery Bus Boycott speech. He never fought for civil rights using guns, swords, or any weapons. He used something that is stronger and sharper than any blade or weapon of this earth, this is the power of voice, and the power of peace, he was able to gather hundreds of people to help in the fight for civil rights and was able to stop people from using weapons to fight for civil rights. He led huge marches and even though Martin Luther King Jr was arrested several times that didn’t stop him. He didn’t fight for civil rights for himself, but for everyone who was treated
