It was 1925, New York City, The Big Apple, a couple years before the Great Depression. The city was bustling with industry. Men, woman, and children were working all day, trying to survive the harsh city life. With the spare money they earned, they went to see short films at the movie theater and went to see sporting events like polo and baseball. But the Big Apple was due for a change, they needed something more exciting than polo and baseball. A sport that’s action packed and exciting and can provide proper entertainment for their families. The Giants shut out 9 of 12 opponents and surrendered only 20 points during the entire season. At that time, the New England Patriots were undefeated with a 16-0 (16 wins 0 loses) record and were voted most likely to win the Super Bowl. The Giants came in with a heart full of courage and pride; ready to upset a lot of fans and gamblers. The most iconic moment in the game was in the 4th quarter, when Manning dropped back to pass, but was surrounded by New England pass rushers. Escaping three tackles, he threw a long pass to David Tyree, who caught the ball against his own helmet, while being covered by Patriots safety Rodney Harrison.
