Persuasive Essay- Spaying and Neutering Pets Nowadays most people with pets know what spaying and neutering is, it is a term used to to describe the surgical sterilization of an animal, spaying for females and neutering for males. There is some controversy that goes with this topic . However, It is my belief that spaying or neutering your pet is the best decision for both the animal and the community. Spaying and neutering has many benefits for the animals health. It has been shown to reduce aggression and ease anxieties, especially in male dogs and cats. Millions more lose their lives from disease, starvation, moving vehicles and abuse. Animals are used by greedy breeders who breed them in cramped conditions until their bodies give out. So much of this is caused by overpopulation due to irresponsible pet owners who allow their pets to run free and do not spay or neuter them. Overpopulation is such a big problem and nobody has the time or the resources anymore to handle all of it at once. If people simply spayed and neutered their pets, this could be very preventable Some people think that spaying and neutering isn’t “natural”. That pets have an instinct to reproduce because they’re animals and we don’t have a right to take it away from them. Another possible argument is that they’re worried that putting an animal through unnecessary surgery is cruel to the animal for no reason. They don’t want to put them through

The benefits of dog therapy really intrigued me because while I had anticipated positive changes in Evan’s mood after being with the dogs, I didn’t really consider that it could also impact his physical health. However, I wondered if it was just a fluke we were observing a more optimistic attitude, lower blood pressure, and increased appetite after the visits or if the dogs were actually playing a part in those changes. I decided to do some investigating and found a surprisingly large amount of research available on the benefits of therapy dogs. The Mayo Clinic has a therapy dog program and has found that the

People should take fully consideration before taking action and think about the long-term consequences, and do not define the behavior to be right or not. For instance, Dalai mentions that “In medicine, for instance, the drug thalidomide was found to be excellent for the treatment of morning sickness in pregnant women, but its long-term
The both sides of this topic are very controversial because there are many opinions about this and in this essay i will explain the both sides and in between of the argument. Between the arguments of animals being experimented on and animals being people who are our pets; there is a major controversial conflict about it. In the article, “Eating Animals the Nice Way.” by Jeff McMahan, he states, “Many people are opposed to factory farming because of the terrible suffering it inflicts on animals, yet see no
Your Pet has just been neutered (male) or spayed (female). This procedure involves internal surgery and therefore your pet needs extra care for some time after their surgery. Unfortunately animals do not always understand that they need rest, so you need to help them with this recovery. Immediately after When you pick up your pet from the surgery they may be a bit drowsy. This is normal following an anaesthetic and surgery.
In this circumstance many animal lovers are always worried about animals that are being killed due to animal testing. Yes, there are other alternatives such as using a human’s cell, computer models, etc. instead of killing animals. Imagine an enraged animal rights activist charging toward a scientist in a white lab coat, desperate to free the little mice that are being used as test subjects.
