Question 1 Multimedia is the use of computer to present the combination of five elements with links and tools that enable the user to navigate, interact and communicate. Multimedia comprises five elements, Text, Graphics, Audio, Video and Animation. Text is the simplest element used in Multimedia to convey idea or concept. Any alphanumeric symbols and numbers can be considered as text. A meaningful word can be formed through the combination of alphanumeric symbols or a statistic can be performed through numbers. There are a few types of text through computer. First, printed text that printed out through a printer and appears on paper. A printed text does not require a computer to present but the text is non-editable. Next, scanned text that is scanned from printed text. Software such as Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is used to recognize the text and convert it into digital form. Thirdly, the electronic text that are read by computer and stored in digital form. Electronic text can be transmitted electronically over networks. Besides, hypertext is the linked text that …show more content…
A conventional artwork and drawing can be converted into graphic by scanning into digital form. Graphic can be categorized into two types, Bitmap Graphic and Vector Graphic. Bitmap graphic is made up of many dots arranged in matrix and specific order while Vector graphic is stored as a mathematical formula. Thus, Bitmap graphic does not require special software to read because no processing is require before displaying it. However, due to this reason, it occupies more space compared to Vector graphic and take longer time to transfer over network. Furthermore, Vector graphic is resolution-independent, it means that quality of Vector graphic would not be affected by zooming like Bitmap graphic does. There are a few standard formats for Bitmap graphic on the Web, such as GIF, JPEG/JPG, PNG, TIFF and

To ensure the wireless signal is transmitted to every corner of the office space I recommend routers set-up with 4 directional antennas and a centralized Omni-directional antenna. The use of 2.4 GHz routers will increase data transmission speed 460-600 Mbps and provide 11 channels per router to support decrease in network collisions and prevent data packet from being dropped (Lazar, n.d.). All computing devices must be equipped with latest Windows 10 for business and use VPN tunnels to remotely connect and send print jobs to the Austin location. In addition, all workstations must manually be configured with the latest printer drivers to recognize the device.
Hi Friends! I am describing here about the Newstarads.com which I have faced some days ago in my computer system. I am just explaining here that what are the real malicious works of this virus when it attacks into your PC. Newstarads.com is a noxious site. The domain is related to a browser hijacker.
My last name is Short so I was given Nia tot analyze and advise. Ironically I felt as though I could relate to her most. She is a stubborn learner. " She confuses confidence with competence. "
Forums: I have used the forums and looked around it a lot. I know how to navigate through the server 's forums and find and help out players on here. Also, the forum is a place where staff and players are able to interact with each other and communicate. It connects the players and knowing how to navigate and being able to help out on the forums is a big part of being a staff member. The forums is also a source of helping out players.
Part I Which of the concepts in these chapters was the most difficult for you? In 5-7 sentences, explain what you think you understand and ask 2-3 questions about things you know you don 't understand. Standard error of the mean I read the section on standard error of the mean (SEM) three times and unfortunately, this concept is difficult for me to understand. I do understand that the standard error of the mean is the standard deviation of a sampling distribution of means. I understand how to calculate the SEM (simply divide the standard deviation of the sample by the square root of the sample size minus one).
When I had first approached this project, my first task was to define each of the words for more clarity as to what they meant and how they related to each other. After defining them, I decided to categorize every word plus an additional word in order to have 4 groups that all contained 5 words each. I admit that I am more of a categorical person, and group and placing things together has always worked out better for me. This part was based on my opinion as I group together words with similar themes or meanings or by how easy they could connect to each other. Simultaneously, while categorizing the words together, I was planning out how to make my actual map look presentable.
This project was a lot harder then my family and I ever expected it to be. At first we thought it would be good and we would feel better about not wasting and not having as much trash. But after a couple of days we noticed that we couldn’t do a lot of things we normally do like wipe our hands on a napkin or use a straw to drink at a resturaunt. We as a whole had to make a lot of changes like making our foods the night before and bringing clean towels with us everywhere we went. This project has really made us open our eyes to see what we were actually doing to hurt our environment just by going through our daily routine.
In the article "More Than Words: Comics as a Means of Teaching Multiple Literacies" by Dale Jacobs, the author uses the term "multimodal text" to refer to forms of communication that use multiple modes or channels to convey information and meaning. In the context of this article, Jacobs is specifically referring to comic books as a form of multimodal text. Jacobs argues that comic books are an example of multimodal text because they combine written text with visual elements such as images, symbols, and visual cues to create meaning. He believes that comic books offer more than just traditional written text and serve as a means of conveying complex ideas and emotions through a mixture of written and visual elements.
Conor 2.Use a cluster diagram to record the issues that conservatives strongly endorsed. Moral Majority 2.Choose one issue and explain in a paragraph the conservative position on that issue. The Conservatives supported the Conservative Collation as way to change the face of people's general way of thinking. Conservatives wanted less of a federal government because they believed the people and the American economy deserved more freedom from the American economy. The Conservatives wanted families to be more patriotic and promote traditional values.
Introduction: The field of computing is coupled by myriad changes that occur occasionally all in a bid to improve the overall performance and efficiency of the computer and the user experience. These changes have not only led to the evolution of computer graphics as field of study but also inventions such as the Xbox One, Playing Station 4 and printers among others. Indeed graphics have been a marketing point for companies that want to woo consumers into purchasing their products. This paper will attempt to look at the differences between the graphics in personal computers and the Xbox One.
However, the world of computer graphics is shrouded by problems, the main one being the high cost of simulation. In terms of hardware run
Van Deursen and van Dijk (2014) resume this perspective, but stating that the great diversity of definitions makes it difficult to have a clear characterization of digital skills. Therefore, they propose a definition of digital skills, both conceptual and operational, in four sequential domains: Operational, formal, information and strategic. The authors understand by operational skills the actions that allow a person to use digital media tools, such as navigation bars, buttons or links, different ways to input information in fields or pages, possibilities to download or save files and similar. As for the formal skills, they refer to navigation and orientation in structures specific to digital media (in essence, hypertextual), such as knowing which website one is in, identifying how to navigate each site, orienting oneself or getting lost while performing a task. The information skills are related to knowing how to search, select and assess the information from internet in its various forms (text, image, video).
These messages can be described in terms of the delivery media (computer screen & amplified speaker) , sensory modalities ( visual & auditory) and presentation mode (words and pictures). The process of multimedia learning can be viewed as information acquisition in which multimedia messages are information delivery vehicles or as knowledge construction in which these messages are aids to sense making. Multimedia devices are electronic media devices used to experience and store multimedia content, record, play and display or access by information content processing devices such as electronic and computerized devices. However, it can also be a part of live
