The best US President will always be remembered for what they accomplished in their term as President, Ronald Reagan was a President that carried his amazing accomplishments even after his time as President. A great US President should have experience before taking office and should know what they are doing and keep America on the right track, also Reagan kept to his point and got things done, most of all President Reagan did something no one else could do and beat communism. These qualities made Ronald Reagan one of the best US Presidents.
Before taking office as President of the US he was governor of California this gave him experience in the field of politics, he won his first election by 1 million votes. "He got the American economy growing again." (www.economist.com paragraph 4) Ronald not only helped get it growing again by cutting taxes for Americans and helped with military spending, but shaped it so much to that he was elected for 2 terms, it says a lot about Reagans skills as a leader if he was elected for 2 terms. They believed that government shouldn’t be in control of the economy and the industries that run it. Years later, Franklin Roosevelt will become president in 1933 and introduced the New Deal policy, which helped create thousands of jobs and revitalize a dying economy.
