In America, the issue of gun control has become an extremely controversial topic. Ever since the formation of this great nation, guns have been key tools and restricting them any further would present incomprehensible consequences. Placing stricter gun laws on the current situation or banning assault weapons will not decrease the death or crime rate but in fact quite the opposite. The republican party believes that with fewer gun restrictions and revision of current standards, we can make America a safer place. The right to bear arms is a fundamental right of any American citizen and this right needs to be protected as the fundamental freedom it is.

A weapon in the wrongs hands is the maximum danger humanity can face. Nowadays, violence and delinquency in society are viewed as the maximum problem solver. Humanity is full of chaos; hate and envy seize our souls. Guns are the ultimate security for some citizens but for others, these add to a feeling of defenselessness. Throughout history, any topic related to guns means a plethora of problems.

In America, there is crime everywhere, you can’t get away from it. When you watch the news it seems like a crime is happening every second and most of them involved a gun. The author says that people need to get a knife or a dog. At first, this line does not seem to make any sense and appears to be non – sense. But if we really think upon it, it seems to make a lot of sense, especially in the countries such as the United States of America, where there are lots of incidents such as mass shooting and revenge murders.

They also do not have as many negative effects as some claim. The right to own firearms is a constitutional right that is important and needs to be upheld. Owning guns is an essential constitutional right. The right to own guns has many benefits even for those who do not own guns. The right to own guns is based in the United States Constitution.

The biggest question remains, should civilians be allowed to carry guns. Many argue No, others yes. My opinion is that they should carry guns on them at all times. Reason being is because we might need to defend ourselves against tyranny one day. Many criminals are free on the streets and you never know when you might bump into one.
