Should humans be wary about the possible takeover of artificial intelligence? In the article “The Case of Taking AI Seriously as a Threat to Humanity,” by Piper Kelsey, the author reinforces the argument of why this takeover is very much possible. Piper’s article emphasizes the focus that artificial intelligence will wipe out humanity like nuclear warfare. The AI will seem like a peaceful tool, but as it learns more, the machine will gain sentience and work against humans.
