Many parts of Martin Luther King’s dream have come true, or much closer to realization. The dream of ending segregation has been fulfilled and there are equal rights for all races. The USA and much of the world has moved a long way towards Kings wishes that people should “not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”
One of the interesting documentary, I watched was call The Color of Fear, where it was talking different ethnicities. . The Color of Fear informs people about issue of white privilege in race relations. The film shows eight men of various ethnicities discussing the issue of race together. They are all of different backgrounds, which makes their discussion quite interesting and very heated at times. One who stuck was an African American man named Victor, he really showed his strong emotion, and he really showed how effect by the issue he was. But, why the racial hatred between people still exists. And, what really is “the foreign”, and what effect does it have on young people and young adults. Many people not aware of how much racism still exists in schools workforces and many other places in social lives are occurring. It is obvious that racism is bad as it was many decades ago; it sure has not gone away. Racism very much exists, and it is about time that people need to start thinking about the instigation and solution to this matter. Besides, many people believe that is depends on if a person was brought into the world as a racist or not. Plus, I think if many people do not look at the person from the outside looks, then there is no need to be racism. Like a quote that I personally loved it, “Don’t judge the book by its cover.” I think everyone has a different point a view toward to any situations, and it is depends on the person
