Down with Homework I agree with Alfie Kohn, when he states the strain that enormous amount of homework causes. But I disagree with his opinion in completely eliminating homework. We cannot eliminate homework because that will destroy the bridge that keeps students connected to their books after they leave school. Why Students Shouldn’t Have Homework There are around 365 days in a year, and in a school year, there are around 180 days. From the beginning of the school year to the end, the most common thing that students least like, is homework.
