For the past six years the fires have exhausted resources to put out these fires. This NASA scientist used satellites to figure out that most of our water sources are completely depleted. A few weeks ago, there was a huge fire called “The Valley Fire which scorched more than 76,000 acres across Lake, Napa and Sonoma counties, killed four civilians, injured four firefighters and destroyed nearly 2,000 buildings”(Kale Williams). The Valley Fire grew so fast, since there was a terrible amount of dry brush and trees, which easily caught the whole area on fire, and that’s also how the fire grew 10,000 acres over a few hours.

In conclusion, prescribed fires help out a lot. they can make our everyday life better if we use them more for the good of all living things. If we didn't use them, we might not be able to enjoy such a future. We might have many more wildfires than we ever expected in the future if we don't use prescribed fires.

Thomas, as a native Californian has seen the ups and downs of the Santa Ana winds. She has experienced what good they bring to the deserts and canyons, as well as the bad they bring to the new developments that spring up every year. She sees how the winds blow massive natural wildfires across the deserts scorching the low lying shrubbery that grows there. Texas is home for 25 million residents and the population will continue to rise in the future. The Lone Star is a great place to start your careers or to build a family because of the available resources and a wide range of opportunities. However, on the other hand, comparing to other states, the weather in Texas is extreme and unpredictable. According to the Texas A&M Forest Service, Texas is one of the three natural disaster states in the nation. Same as other natural disasters, wildfires in Texas can be hazardous because they can burn down resources, destroy wildlife and can put a great cost on property restoration.

It’s important because if the 40% keeps growing more and more every year then the time we know it the rainforest will be gone. Loggers don’t just cut down trees they also make roads in the rainforest, also they also clear areas for farmers and cattle ranchers, which needs a lot of land to feed lots of cows and plants that need space because of their roots. When loggers cut down trees what will happens to all the animals that live in the trees? The animals will have to find a new home in the rainforest, but then what will happen when all the trees are gone?
