Why Did Meriwether Lewis Die

This quote is important because it allows me to understand that Jefferson has to die because he was the only person in the liquor store and was a black man.

Lewis and Clark were the exploring duo that made history in the exploration of America. While Lewis and Clark ventured deeper into the west of this new American land. They encounter a large variety of Native Americans and started to act a behavior of aggression towards them.
