Also, he states that Americans compete with immigrants for the less educated and less skilled jobs, because immigrants are willing to do rough works for less payment.

In this century, the world has witnessed numerous changes in regards to policies made on immigration. This has been attributed to many factors among them being economic factors, cultural exchange and out of good faith. Among the models that these countries use include; assimilation model, acculturation model, alternation model, multicultural model and fusion model which always serves the interest of the host countries. In the recent past, the strict policies that barred immigration have been done away with and instead more friendly policies put in place. Most countries embrace foreigners based on the diversity model, multiculturalism and many other factors.

The Senate’s plan and the House’s plan both recognized the growing need for highly skilled workers in the labor market and proposed to make it easier for immigrants who obtain advanced degrees in the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) to get green cards and work visas. Additionally, the Senate’s plan offers a path of citizenship to the already 11 million undocumented people already living in the U.S. providing a path to citizenship can produce tremendous economic benefits. Industries such as agricultural and construction employ millions of low skilled workers, although many of them are illegal immigrants because they are easier to cheat than legal workers; this depresses wages for all workers and increases demand for unauthorized workers. A 2008 report from the Atlanta Federal Reserve analyzed how this cycle is activated and expands as firms find themselves forced compete for the supply of cheaper, unauthorized labor, When a firm cuts cost by hiring unauthorized workers for low wages, its competitors become more likely to hire unauthorized workers for lower wages, as well, in order to benefit from the same cost savings . Economists believe legalization of the undocumented workers would bring substantial economic gains.

Illegal immigrant’s residency in the U.S. negatively affects our economy. Their residency here leaves less housing for our legal citizens. They only have to pay less than half the normal cost for households and only pay one-fourth of the household taxes (Dudley 88). Since they are here and need money, they’re taking job opportunities away from U.S. citizens. An overpopulation undoubtedly effect negative environmental problems, but the government can promote other better ways for protect environment. There is an overpopulation problems. The second problem is the traffic congestion that is caused by few roadway lane and rising cars. The government should create better eco-friendly vehicles, such as streetcars, and promote use bicycles and eco-friendly cars to Hawaii’s residents.

There is a certain irony to debating whether more immigration is good or bad for America, because unless you are a Native American, you are the product of immigrants. However, the majority of us can never know the feeling of being so completely helpless and hopeless that we give up everything familiar to start over in a foreign land. How Illegal Immigration Benefits America Illegal immigration has been an issue that people still can’t figure out what to do about,while some people think that it’s bad for the country, others think that illegal immigration actually helps America in many different ways. I believe that illegal immigration should be allowed in America for the economy,families, and to prove that immigration does not pose a terrorist threat to America. Some people may believe that illegal immigration does not help in any way the economy,but I have to disagree.

Even worse, illegal immigration brings our country into poverty. All these children coming here for a better future have absolutely nothing! All they know is that their parents might be coming to them one day. What if their parents don’t come? The children grow up and live in poverty.

If we raise the minimum wage, it’s possible some low- end jobs may be lost; but more Americans would also be willing to work in such jobs, thereby denying them to people who aren’t supposed to be here in the first place” Assuming that most american citizens are going to work, they would take up all the jobs provided out there, assuming that the minimum wage went up and they would be payed better (Dukakis & Mitchell,

That is, in fact, true, however, what they didn’t mention is that the benefit they give us is less than 1% as researchers have studied. With such insignificant benefit, comes great impact. According to researchers, the wages of low-skilled workers decreases due to a few high skilled illegal immigrant. They would illegally hire them and will pay the native born works less than what they deserved. Illegal Immigrant attends our public schools but doesn’t pay the taxes.

Immigration is defines as the action of leaving one's home country to start a new life in another country. Immigration has been a recent topic for politicians and the new president elect of the Donald trump. Undocumented immigrants serve as a problem to our nation's economy and well being both socially and economically. Illegal immigrants pose economic and social problems in the United States. Illegal immigrants receive approximately 9.3 million dollars in benefits from the Government while they only pay 3 million dollars in taxes.

Because of this, locals and immigrants often flock to promising urban developments. The levels of overcrowding differ depending on factors such as housing supply and affordability, income, and immigrant concentrations (Myers & Baer, 2007). Subsequently, many cities are overwhelmed and struggle to deal with surging population sizes. Although highly populated cities bring together many different cultures and resources, they simultaneously lead to overcrowding. Overcrowding severely impacts society as it inevitably leads to many issues, including poverty, higher crime rates, and inadequate educational systems.

People believe that the infrastructure will struggle to hold the larger population and consider this a very real excuse not to allow an increase in population. While it is true that traffic will congest, the solution is very obvious; simply build new infrastructure. Luckily the government will have the ability to afford the new roads and flyovers due to the extra tax money from immigrants in their new jobs, plus the money saved from immigration enforcement. To say that it is an unnecessary cost is ridiculous as improved infrastructure is always an advantage.
