Summary of the Facts In TurnAround Couriers Inc. v. C.U.P.W. (2012), TurnAround Couriers Inc. is the Applicant, and The Canadian Union of Postal Workers is the Respondent. This case comment refers to a Federal Tribunal’s jurisdictional ability to hear a labour dispute concerning a courier company. TurnAround Couriers Inc. (“TurnAround”) is a Toronto-based “same-day” courier service that was established in 2002 and operated as a for-profit corporation. Anyway, Stamp Act was working negatively to us as Sugar Act was (117). As you know I am a part of patriots community. The United States Postal Service has been used for many years, sending mail far and near. It is still being used today. Dating back to the colonial times of America, mail was delivered by the Pony Express, today mail is being sent by cars, airplanes, and ships. Our country is long overdue for restructuring the USPS. The USPS should be restructured so they can gain revenue, still have convenience, and to keep up to date with developing technology.

The postal workers that went to strike felt the wages were very low, the benefits were poor, and the working conditions were unhealthy and not safe. One of the most memorable events in postal history was the postal strike of 1970. The Postal Strike of 1970 was the first national postal stoppage in the United States and also the largest walkout against the U.S. federal government. Once it happened, it crippled the functions of different industries and entities including the U.S. government, Wall Street, garment industry, department stores, and many individuals. If this question was raised twenty, even twenty-five years ago, the obvious answer would be no, as using the postal service was one of the best forms of communication. However, in this age surrounded by bigger and better forms of communication than the postal service, would we still need a rule like the postal rule? This brings several questions such as: would it be better if we didn’t have the postal rule? What would change if we rid of the postal rule? What wouldn’t change?
