Why You Should Go To College

Eric Adams is a Latin Highschool teacher who attended the University of Georgia. He now has a family and can finiaically support them thanks to his multiple degrees in college. He lives in a a large house with his wife and two kids. Eric Adams is a succesful educator and couldnt be ome what he is now without college. With the advanced money he has made he has paid off his student loans and is now is making strictly profit for him and his family.

Researchers have a variety of opinions on whether college is worth paying the tuition. Those who don't receive college degrees may have the chance to pursue personal achievements that may not have been available at college because of their own personal lifestyles. Although, those who do receive college degrees have more opportunities and beneficiaries in life than those who don't. In the long term, people who seek to attend college and earn a degree are more likely to be successful and life, and are presented with more job opportunities compared to those who don't attend

In conclusion going to college is very much worth it. Getting a degree will not only improve the quality of a job’s pay substantially, but make the job search extensively easier. Knowing this students of all ages can make the right decision when deciding whether or not college is the right choice for them. So as a nation let's build ourselves to be better, richer and smarter people by making the right choice when it comes to our education;

College is Worth the Cost College is the next higher level of education after high school. Many students go to college to get a bachelor’s degree for his or her major, and some students go farther than that to get a masters or a doctorates’ degree. The argument between people in today’s society is whether college is worth the cost. College is worth the cost students pay because people, who attend college get better jobs, make more money, and college improves his or her worth ethics and character.

Most 18 year olds, according to "’I Can’t Afford College’ and Other Financial Aid & Grant Myths", fail to understand that the wrong answer to a seemingly simple question, “what’s next”, could cost them over $1 million dollars! As detailed in “Six Reasons to Go to College”, Many young people fail to realize the failure to obtain a college degree puts them behind for the rest of their life, and without a college degree they are less productive and happy members of society. Students simply do not understand the statistics which show that over time, the income of people with a college degree is rising while the income of people without a college degree is actually falling.

It also instills crucial skills like organization, self discipline and the ability to complete tasks from start to finish. In other words, college helps mold you into a more professional individual. Some may fear that they will attend four years of college but won’t graduate. In the article “Why College Isn’t for Everyone,” it’s simply stated that “...more than 40 percent of those attending four-year colleges full-time to fail to graduate...” (“Why College Isn’t for Everyone” 78).

Every year thousands of high school students will receive their diplomas and become graduates. For many of us this is a major moment in young adulthood. One of the first major decisions many of us will make following that day will be whether or not to attend college. All through school it is constantly pushed upon us that college is the best way to prepare for a successful future. However, everyone does not feel that way.

I have spent countless hours trying to make the right decision on where I should start my journey to success. After deliberating it, I have decided to attend Augustana College in Rock Island. Augustana is a medium private liberal art college that is located in Rock Island, Illinois. I feel that Augustana has what I need to complete the goals I have set for myself. I plan to major in psychology or double major in pre medical and psychology.

When I meet a new friend or someone on the street and start a conversation. They always ask "why are you going to college for". I always say that “college is the best option for me is because of three reasons it make a better person, more option, and I don’t want to live like my family. Fist of all going to college made me a better person by letting me choose my own path and see the out come, it teaches reasonability's. Second it open a whole new world for me.

The reasons why I am attending college Personally, I decided to go to the college because my parents always taught me that a higher-education could offer me a better life. I attended an extraordinary high school in Italy but I wanted to continue my education here in Miami. I am attending college because I will get an excellent job and most like it make more money when I graduate, I will build more knowledge and skills and finally I will have the college experience and make more friends.

The reason I want to attend the BEAR partnership 2018 summer program is because it’s a great opportunity for me to learn more about the university and how it will feel to study there, this chance means an opportunity to meet and communicate with others and MSU is the university I plan to attend! I want to attend Missouri State University because they have a wonderful, supportive partnership with my high school. At first I had not thought about Missouri State University as one of my colleges of choice until my superintendent, Dr. Spurgeon, told me last year about the connection MSU has with future teachers. Growing up in a small, farming town has made me the person I am today. 4-H is a way for children to become active in their small communities. It has been a part of my life since I was little. 4-H has taught me many important lessons in life. As the current president and reporter of my club, I have to be organized, responsible and a leader.

Throughout the years, I have seen all of my family members give up on their education. They didn’t have the opportunities that I have now. So I would like to be the first in my family to go to college and get a degree. My family has struggled to get their bills payed, and get food on the table. I would want to change that for me and have a successful future.

Going to college may not be the best choice for everyone, but it can provide many great opportunities for the future. Young adults who attend college could potentially earn more money, have better job opportunities and learn some responsibility while living on campus. Life is not all about having or making a lot of money, but it can make life better. Money is used in our everyday lives and is needed to support us. When students decide on their major, the choice may come from how much money is made in that job industry.
