Changing School Lunches

The principal is trying to change school lunch menu's to healthier meals. I strongly believe that this is a good idea to change the lunches because of the following reasons: healthier meals makes kids grow big and strong, it gives you more energy to move around, and it taste delicious. Schools all around should consider changing their lunches for the better of their student. This is for the better of the student to have healthy food. I will go into greater detail in the following paragraphs. Although you may think that junk food is good for your body and doing you justice, but it's really not. I am 5ft 6in and very healthy because i make good decisions for my body. So pick what's best for your body. I would rather consume nutrients for my body then junk food that tears it down. Do you ever get sleepy after you have eaten candy, chips, and soda? If you have its because there is a lot of sugar and salt being stuffed in your mouth. That type of junk slows your metabolism down and makes you sleepy, I mean of course you have energy for a while but it goes away quickly. Fruit on the other hand, gives you energy that stay with you for a long period of time. It give you a high metabolism. Must students get really tired after lunch because of what they eat. They don't have the energy to do the work in class, but if we had healthier food choice we would be able to focus, and pay attention to what the teacher is saying. So they can become great leader in this world some day. Many reasons why students might miss the old favorite foods is because of the taste. Greasy foods taste so good to them, but fruits and vegetables taste just the same when fresh and cooked. Students wont even know the difference. Apples, pears, peaches, grapes, oranges, and bananas are all sweet and juicy when they are fresh. Its just like pizza, hot
