Dental Hygienist Personal Statement

Who is your Realtor? She’s person that has displayed Stick-to-itiveness though her professional and personal life. Falon, started her professional career as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Florida. Over the course of her 8-year career she has always won her patience over with her willingness to stay on the job with a high level of care and concern, she has an innate ability to see the job ahead of her, and not quit until every detail; of every area has been addressed. She has lead the way as a professional and is a champion of high level client care.

The purpose of this article was to assess dental hygienist beliefs on treating pregnant patients and assess the amount of education they have on the subject. Perinatal care among oral health care professionals has a focus since maternal periodontal disease was linked to preterm low birth weight babies. The authors wanted to examine hygienist views on the importance of oral care being apart of prenatal care, thoughts on treating pregnant patients, and knowledge level of appropriate procedures. Emails containing the questionnaire were sent to all Michigan Dental Hygiene Association members (MDHA).

Dental Hygienist You know that feeling you have after you get your teeth clean? You feel refreshed and clean. Well dental hygienist feel the same way after they have completed their work for a patient. Dental hygienist feel accomplished and relaxed.

Over the years, there are a lot of changes that has happened in this profession, where others may or may not find it beneficial. Ontario, being the first province that recognizes dental hygienists, has established their own college for the profession, which is called College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO). Before it has been established, dental hygienists are dependent to Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDHO), which by that time they can just work on a client when a dentist gave them an instruction. Before, the main focus of dental hygienists is to treat clients’ tooth decay and gum diseases. I am writing this letter to request an increase in my hourly rate. I am requesting a $3.00 raise. I am the current Dental hygienist at Rotterdam Dental Associates and Hudson Valley Plaza Dental. I have been employed at Rotterdam Dental Associates for a year and five months. I took over for the hygienist at Hudson Valley Plaza Dental in November, 2014.

Not every seventeen year old can tell you what they plan on majoring in without changing their mind but not me. I’ve always been interested in teeth. I plan on studying Dental Hygiene at Northern Arizona University because I want to be exposed to more than one learning environment. When I receive my bachelors in Dental Hygiene I want to stay in Flagstaff for a couple years and eventually go back to school in order to become a dentist but I would rather be practicing dental hygiene than go to dental school for a long period of time.

Growing up children have think they know what they want to be when they grow up but as they progress and get older they’re ideal career changes for the most part based on the changes they go threw themselves and experiences. For example I wanted to be an Actress because I would to watch the a lot of movies on the daily basis but then as I got older that changed, my ideal job now is have a good paying job and not have to work excess hours. I Chose Dental assisting because the dentistry field has a lot to offer I have always wanted to work in the health field and unlike medical nursing, Dental Assistants have more control of their schedule also they have a wide variety of options from working in private offices to working in public health departments also offers good hours, pay and

The career field that I have chosen to go into is the medical field. In the medical field I would like to become a dental hygienist. The background that I have on dental hygienist is that you exam gums, clean teeth, and teach about oral care. The research that I have already done on this profession is a dental hygienist annual salary and required hour of work. Some more research I utilized is how many years of college are needed, what you do while at work, and if you work by yourself or who you work with.

My ambition to study Dental Hygiene and Therapy at University commenced in my teenage years, when I first came to London and visited the dentist. The professional approach coupled with a kind and compassionate nature and all of the different instruments and scientific technology the Dental Hygienist and Therapist used fascinated me. I am currently studying Dental Nursing at Teesside University. This course involves providing correct support to the dentist at the chair side, reassuring and supporting patients, maintaining a gold standard clinical environment, charting, dental anatomy and physiology. Studying this course has enhanced my knowledge of dental terminology and procedures as well as the anatomy of the oral cavity.

I chose questions that would be easy for her to answer and questions that could be incorporated into my essay. I also asked questions that would be fun for her to answer and that could help influence my decision on the career. I used the answers to the questions to introduce the career.

I want to be a physician because I want people to grow old. At the age of 6, one of my closest friends was diagnosed with leukemia. By age 8, the disease claimed his life, robbing him of the opportunity to experience the privilege of growing old. Unfortunately, we live in a society of vanity. We see the process of aging and choose not to embrace it.

Dental assistants support dental specialists or dentists in carrying out dental routine. A dental assistant is not the real dental operator that performs on patients but only an assistant to the licensed dentist. Aspirants of dental assisting career need to attend a dental assisting program at either college or tech school so as to acquire a diploma, certificate or degree. The duration of the program depends on the type of certification targeted. The program comprises both theory and practical.

From a very young age, I have always been aware of the need for a good oral health, as both of my parents suffered from permanent staining on their teeth caused by tetracycline. Though initially I experienced dental phobia, my dentist was successful in making my appointments enjoyable and free of fear. My interest in dentistry grew progressively as I came to appreciate the relationship between dentists and patients, and this has brought my desire to explore the field of dentistry. My first taste of dentistry arose when winning the election to the Student Healthcare Council with the task of broadcasting dental knowledge to middle school.

The smile is the most quintessential form of body language; elegant yet so simple. My interest in dentistry sprouted during my orthodontic treatment when I realised how pivotal the teeth are in the quality of life. This realisation led me to research what lay beneath the tip of the iceberg which was ultimately the world of dentistry. My interest in dentistry was furthered by the work experience I undertook at a local dental practice.
