How Exercise Affects the Brain Exercise affects many parts of the body. People may say that the brain works as a muscle. Exercising can improve brain skills as well as it improves muscles. Exercise is defined as activity requiring physical effort, carried out especially to sustain or improve health and fitness. Improving memory and creativity are just a few things exercise can do for the brain. Exercising causes many positive affects on the brain.
