Wellness is an action of becoming aware and making choices toward a healthy and complete life. Learning about the Eight Dimensions of Wellness can help us choose how to make wellness a part of our everyday life. Wellness is practical way to start developing healthy habits that can have a positive impact on our physical and mental health.

Physical Dimension explains important of physical activity, exercise regularly, eat a well balanced diet, and maintain a healthy body weight and environmental exposure. Spiritual Dimension means the ability to establish peace and harmony in our lives. It is expanding our sense of purpose and meaning of life. Believe in nature, art, music meditation or good deeds performed for others. The activities are exploring the spiritual side, volunteer, and worshipping.
Intellectual Dimension is life-long learning through experience, and formal. It is the ability to open our mind to new ideas, clarify values, improve skills and seek challenges in decision making. An intellectual wellness person can communicate effectively, exhibit time management, alert in current issues. - The activities taking a challengeable course or workshop, learning a new skill, reading on current news.
Social Dimension is the ability of interact with people, participating in and feeling connected to the community. It also creating supportive and respect social networks through meaningful relationships with family, friends and colleagues.

The definition for wellness is “the quality or state of being healthy in body and mind”. The secular world view tells you that you are doing this for external reason. Throughout the story, Camilla’s skin begins to take on the appearance of everything people says she has. For example, someone says “checkerboards” and her skin develops a checkerboard patten.

Research Findings Wellness Program A Wellness Program is a program designed to improve the physical and mental health of a company’s employees. The program can consist of physical fitness programs, nutrition and dietary information, smoking cessation, stress management, and health screenings. A Wellness program focuses on preventative measures with lifestyle changes in physical fitness, nutrition, mental health, and stress management.
The key factors that provide a supportive speech, language and communication environments are – The physical environment is very important when creating a safe and secure setting that can support each child’s or young person’s individual learning needs and development to the best of their ability. The physical environments factors can include: • Noise levels • Lighting • Space • Distractions • Clear routines • Relaxes atmosphere • Adapted room and resources • Familiarity • Visual support aids. The roles and responsibilities of staff is that we should all understand our own roles and others carrying them out to the best of our abilities within the setting. in my setting at Grove Primary School, we make sure we can provide children and young people with their own key worker and they will have set activities and resources where their key worker will work alongside the child or group of children.
Think that the wheel of wellness is a great representation of a well-balanced life of an individual. Although everyone is their own person with similar or different beliefs, the wellness wheel includes all factors that effect self-identity. I believe everyone wants to be happy in life however there are many obstacles that people face everyday that effect your overall self identity.
Take drinking and smoking as the examples. According to the Centre for Health Protection (2014), there are 5.7% male interviewees consume a drink containing alcohol daily, while there are only 1.2% female interviewees drink every day. Besides, 21.8% male drink at least once a week, while only 6.5% female do that (Centre for Health Protection, 2014). Apart from consuming alcohol, smoking also brings negative impacts to health. The survey conducted by the Centre for Health Protection (2014) pointed out that there are 17.5% of male daily smokers while there are 3.2% of female daily smokers.

In relation to Christianity, Ninian Smart’s Seven Dimensions of religion seem to all be at play and sometimes overlap between dimensions. But because Christianity is such a vast religion with many subdivisions and differing views, certain dimensions that are consistent throughout the differing sects play a greater role than other dimensions that are less consistent across sects. Consistently prioritized in this religion are the aspects of the ritual or practical dimension, the ethical or legal dimension, and the experiential or emotional dimension. For Christianity, the ritual or practical dimension applies to the various forms of worship, prayer, and other practices of the Christian church.
The wellness of a human being has been broken down into five sections. These sections are: emotional wellness, intellectual wellness, physical wellness, social wellness and spiritual wellness. I think my strongest section for my personal wellness is my emotion, intellect and physical wellness. However, my weakest sections are social wellness and spiritual wellness. I believe that my emotional wellness is my strongest section.
Emotional related dimension mostly concerned with personal attributes and attitudes includes self-belief and confidence, not taking things personally, sense of humor, ability to bounce back, emotion regulation. Apart from being socially active and maintaining good relations with people, it is important to peep within yourself. Spend some time with you so that you can better understand your needs and live your life in the right direction. This is an important step in maintaining your overall health. "What you are eating is not only related to health, but what you are thinking and what you are saying is also related to health.
Next to health is wellness. On the other hand, wellness is an active process of being aware of and making choices towards a more successful existence. These are some of the dimension of health and wellness.
