George Washington was born on February 22, 1732 in Monument, Virginia. The son of Augustine and Mary Ball Washington. He has five siblings, and the oldest of his siblings. He grew up in Potomac River, then moved to Mount Vernon, which at that time called Little Hunting Creek Plantation, then moved to Ferry Farm. Living in Virginia as a child, when he grew up, he never went to college, but still become part of the colonial army and what all of us know, the first President of the United States.
He was famous for being the first US President, but before he became president, he served in the colonial army during the American Revolution. Leading the Continental Army, he feels that he was a great leader for the military. Being the general meaning being a good leader, he won the Battle of Trenton and Yorktown. Washington was part of the Independent politician, as in the election, he won the election. He had 69 electoral votes, while John Adams was the first Vice President of the United States. He was also a great general of the Continental Army, helping them fight in the Revolutionary War. Being the Founding Fathers to found the United States.
After he retired from his presidential duties, George Washington passed the torch to John Adams. Where he returned to Mount Vernon, what he do his farm his backyard.
