Abortion: a choice or murder?
Although, a lot of people, especially the religious ones may be quick to conclude that abortion is essentially same with murder as both involves taking someone else’s life. the effect of this kind of conclusion is that it makes abortion a criminal offence just like murder. However, it may be worth a while to review the meaning of murder.
The Merriam Webster dictionary defines it as the killing of another without justification or excuse…
This implies that killing may or may not be a crime (of murder) depending on the reason. In fact, some countries excuse killing when it is done in a bid to defend oneself (although with some conditions). Same should apply to abortion, in that, it should or should not be seen as

Or wouldn’t it be worse to watch newly-born child should starve till death. In most African and some Asian countries, we have seen cases of children almost starving to death; where the child will be malnourished and even have some serious health problems like malaria and polio due lack of funds to access good medical services. Tell me, who would have been happy to hear that the reason he or she cannot walk is his or her parent’s financial status. Although you may argue that there are family planning and contraceptives that can be used if a family knows it is not ready for a baby. But do you also know that none of them is a 100-percent sure to prevent pregnancy. Or what good will it do the world, to give birth to kids that may end-up being criminals and convicts just because if anyone aborts they will be punished. So, sometimes abortion may be the only way-out when there is an abrupt downturn in a particular family’s financial stance. Again whoever or whichever state still holds the opinion that abortion should be criminalized must be ready to provide for the complete upkeep of the baby if the parents are incapacitated. In short, if it is not a duty or obligation, in the first place, to want a child, then it shouldn’t be a crime, if one does want one any
To me Abortion is simply murder. The killing of an innocent human being is wrong, even if that human being has yet to be born. Unborn babies are considered human beings by the US government. The federal Unborn Victims of Violence Act, which was enacted "to protect unborn children from assault and murder," states that under federal law, anybody intentionally killing or attempting to kill an unborn child should “be punished...
One major factor is the financial strain associated with raising a child. Many women facing unintended pregnancies find themselves in challenging financial circumstances, lacking the necessary resources to adequately provide for a child's needs. A study conducted in 2013 examining the reasons people seek abortion in the US revealed that approximately 40% of respondents cited financial concerns as a primary motivation (Medical News). These financial concerns often encompass general economic hardships. For individuals already struggling to make ends meet, the additional costs of child-rearing can create substantial challenges and may adversely affect their overall well-being.
Abortion is the deliberate and direct killing of a human in the womb, and a human person is an and organism with homosapien DNA in all its cells. “Fetus” is merely term to describe the stage of development in the womb. If you are to agree that “killing a human person without justification” should not be allowed you must, therefore, agree aborting a fetus should not be allowed because, it unjustifiably kills a human person. There are no differences between a one celled human and a full-grown human that justify killing the one celled human. Secondly, there are no sufficient reasons to suggest that even after granting humanhood, abortion can be justified.
A. Each one of us should not submit to, perform, encourage, pay for, or arrange such abortions. III. The word abortion by definition means the ending of pregnancy by removing a fetus or embryo before it can survive outside the uterus. IV. Abortion, without a doubt, is an extremely controversial issue nowadays because although some people including me are totally against it, others believe that a woman should have the right to choose.
Do you think that we as humans should have the right, with the law to back us up, to take another humans life before the first breath is drawn? Abortion takes only about 30 minutes to complete and is said to not have much pain. Which brings me to my next question, is abortion murder? That depends on you as a person and your beliefs such as Pro-life or Pro- choice. Many Partial abortions occur when the mother either can’t take the pain anymore or she changes her mind (A. M. Paul).
Abortion Abortion is the ending of a pregnancy before the fetus (unborn child) has developed and grown enough to live outside the mother. Most induced abortions are performed in the first trimester of pregnancy . I believe that abortion is wrong unless involved in criminal activity There’s already been debates over abortion. Members of the right-to-life movement believe that abortion is morally wrong and should be prohibited.
What is abortion? Abortion is the voluntary process of ending a fetus’ life during pregnancy, naturally, through medication, or through a medical intervention. Why is abortion a moral dilemma? By definition a moral dilemma “involves conflicts between moral requirements.” (McConnell, 2014).
Abortion is just a technical way of saying the murder of a unborn and should be abolished. Abortion is murder. According to lifenews.com, federal law prohibits the death penalty for a pregnant women until after the child is born. (18 U.S.C.A.S.3596). Doing this means according to the law, a innocent unborn infant cannot be sentenced to death for a crime he/she did not commit.
The common belief among many people is that abortion is murder. I disagree. Abortion is not murder. Abortion cannot be considered murder, first, because it is the woman’s body in which the fetus resides. Secondly, abortion is not murder because there are reasons such as rape and possible birth defects that can contribute to the idea of having an abortion.
Abortion is a very sensitive issue. Many people are constantly debating whether or not abortion should be allowed or not. Some people think abortion is very bad and that it should not be allowed at all. They think abortion is like committing murder as it is killing the human fetus. Others feel that the parents should have the right to choose and it is not murder until the baby is born.
If a mother does not have enough money to raise a child, the child may grow up to have certain health problems such as malnourishment from lack of funds for proper
o maintain a healthy normal lifestlyle. It is sometimes forgotten that the decision forgotten that the decision that 's made will not only affect the other but the baby as well. Choosing to abort fetus could help prevent future issues from occurring in a child 's life. If a woman were to have an unwanted baby she may abuse or neglect hish child emotionally and physically.his will not only take away the
Therefore, stopping the life of a fetus is unethical and wrong. If a person kills a pregnant women they are charged with two counts of murder. If abortion is not murder then why in the United States would the murderer of a pregnant women be charged with two counts? The same should go in abortion cases. Just because the biological mother decides to terminate the pregnancy what is the difference if a murder takes that decision into his or her own hands?
Some people think women use abortions as an escape from their wrong behavior and careless decisions in life and Some people believe that having an abortion and ending a child’s life will solve their problems but in reality, abortion only hides problems it doesn’t solve them. There is always a solution in every problem, choosing abortion and denying life to a child who already exists is irresponsibly and irreparably wrong. How sad for those who think a child is not worth anything. Children
The termination of pregnancy by removing a fetus or embryo from the womb before it can survive on its own is called abortion. Nowadays, abortion is so common that more than forty percent of all women will perform abortion at some time of their reproductive lives. While this numbers are scary, what is more troublesome is that several countries support this dreadful act. Society is now considering this act of murder each day more normal, and position the mother 's rights before the baby´s rights. Killing an adult is no different than killing a fetus, both are genetically unique and were made by God.
