It is important to follow any guidelines and leaflets in medication, as this helps the safe administration of all medicines. It is also important to find out if a person has already taken medication prior to the care support worker giving them any. This is to ensure that you do not overdose the individual. A service user usually has a MARS sheet where the medication that is administered in signed off by the care worker that last administered it to them, so that the care support worker can clearly see that last time the medication was administered to service user, and when they are next due to have the medicine.
abuse: When the service user lives with the carer, it may increase the chances for abuse to occur as this situation may cause stress and resentment if the carer feels he/she cannot cope. Not properly trained staff who do not receive any supervision or support at work, as well as stressed staff who are going through personal problems, or who do not like working in the care sector, may increase the risk of an individual being abused. In group counseling, Black women have the opportunity to experience vicarious learning by observing each other's experiences, challenges, and successes. By sharing stories and providing support, they can witness the growth and accomplishments of their peers, which can enhance their own self-efficacy beliefs. Group counseling also allows for the presence of positive role models within the group. Black women can see others in similar situations overcoming obstacles, setting goals, and achieving positive outcomes. These role models can inspire and motivate group members to believe in their
At the meet last night, Bella wasn 't feeling well and I kept her home from school today due to symptoms of stomach flu. It 's looking as though she will miss school again tomorrow, so she will also miss practice. If the symptoms subside and she starts to feel better she will be there. She started feeling ill on the bus heading to Jarrell yesterday.
The legislations, policies, processes, and code of practices have established the responsibility of employer in the regulation of social care worker. I chose this particular group because it was an open meeting and they welcomed anyone. The man running the group, was a member himself, and was very welcoming. The text book, The Theory and Practice of Group Psychotherapy by Irvin D. Yalom with Molyn Leszcz begins with the preface of the fifth edition. In the preface, Irvin D. Yalom introduced Molyn Leszcz as his collaborator and how they met at Stanford University in 1980. He then discussed how they both worked hard collaboratively to combine old and new material to make this edition. Their goals for this edition were to prepare student therapists for the present-day workplace and to keep the current methods from decaying, so that students can gather wisdom and techniques of the field when they get the opportunity to utilize those methods as therapists. Yalom briefly talked about what each chapter in the text would discuss.

Willing participation for mandated members will be harder to establish because of the circumstances surrounding their membership. They are usually reluctant and unsure about the goals of the therapy group, the processes, the rules and limitations pertaining to confidentiality (Jacobsen, 2013). Group members usually come with biases including cultural beliefs, behaviors, and value systems that group leaders must be willing to challenge to allow them to undergo substantive changes. Part of the participation process is to understand the real reason behind members reluctance and allow them to have an open discussion about how they feel, about being mandated to attend. This will allow the group leader valuable information on how much support each member needs.

I always enjoy learning from others and hearing new perspectives on different concepts such as my topic of stress, which made it fun. I once again was reminded that individuals handle stress in many different ways, including habits such as smoking, procrastinating, and eating, but also through positive methods such as mindfulness, journaling, and venting to other individuals. As far as counseling tools go as a group counselor, I learned that sessions often don’t go as planned; that is, even if you come with a list of questions that you think would open up discussion, it is often best to

I can know the actual response from the client or somethings may occur when in the actual counselling session, it helps me to have an experience to try to handle those problems, I believed that it is good for my internship or future career. Observation about the Group Dynamics The general group dynamic I observed during the class practice and presentation was that no one is willing to do the counselor. I believed that acting a counselor is very challenging for us, people who act as a counselor need to use many skills but if act as a group member can do what counselor said only, so people usually do not to be the counselor. And we always use some games to decide who was the counselor fairly, this was the way that we solve the problem.

How does seeking group counseling make a difference? Seeking the proper help and skilled practitioners specialized in the area in need can certainly make a difference and help the individual traverse the obstacles to change, but success solely lies in the individual and how serious they take the recommendations.
