Generosity, gracious, and inspiration are the first few words that comes up in someone's mind when they hear Oprah Winfrey. Born on January 29, 1954, she has gone through a life changing path from today hosting her own talk show, and earning many of her fortune.Oprah Winfrey: talk show host, philanthropist, and actress is guaranteed to be one of the most influential people in history. Receiving her determination for others has made an enormous outcome of global problems people face today, poverty, world hunger, etc.“ AP Winfrey has engaged in numerous activities including the creation of Oprah’s Angel Network, which sponsors charitable initiative worldwide.” ( Cynthia, 2004). Oprah Winfrey has not only dedicated her income to charities, she is also an advocate for the creation and assistance in many organizations. “In 2007, The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for girls opened its doors.” (Feder, 2018). ”In 2000, after visiting president Nelson Mandela in south Africa, Winfrey vowed to found a school for girls there.” This demonstrates that Oprah’s dedication to the management of organizations made a huge impact not just locally but globally as well. “In 1977, Oprah launched Oprah’s Angel Network and raised millions of dollars to needy families.”( Feder, 2018). Oprah Winfrey had and still has impacted the world with the use of her fortunes and the making of her organizations. This made people live with beneficial lives just with Oprah’s hard work and philanthropy..Another alternative that shows why Oprah Winfrey is guaranteed to be influential is for, winning many awards for her outstanding achievements.
