It has been proven that it is much easier to learn a language when you are younger, but practice makes perfect. In order to do well in the class, I had to study frequently to help understand and remember words, which is normal. I think learning Spanish helped me understand the culture. In class, we learned about holidays they celebrated, such as, Cinco De Mayo and the Day of the Dead. This helped me understand what they valued.

When I was younger I was enrolled into Bilingual classes since preschool which cost me dearly. While taking these classes I had trouble learning English and Spanish words at the same time. I struggled through elementary school because I was not used to focusing primarily on English which affected my grades. While it is true that colleges look for students who know more than one language, the problem with that requirement is that students who focus on two languages at once are more likely to fail their classes because they do not have their full attention directed towards the English language and they don’t pay attention to that factor. Colleges do not see the risk of being a bilingual student.

Year Round School Many schools have switched to year round schooling. In fact, there are 3,181 schools in the Michigan. With that 10% of those schools are public schools. Also, many schools with year round school have had high test scores and better rates. In year round school kids are showing more success and more understanding.

As a freshman the transition was some what difficult for me. These are somethings I think would be good to new for the middle schoolers that are tranistioning into highschool. First keep organized. I can 't stress that enough because if you don 't you will lose things really easy and become a real mess. Another thing is a personal opinion but I don 't think that going to your locker every passing period is a good idea.

I strongly feel that Gatton Academy is the right place for me to finish high school. At my high school, I’ve struggled with lacking curriculum and instruction, with little to no challenge provided for me. Gatton Academy will be able to provide me with the tools and resources I need to excel to the best of my abilities. Not only will Gatton provide rigorous coursework, but it will help prepare me even more so for life as an adult.

Me: Since you said you were interested in cars and music perhaps we can see if there is any elective classes at the high school for you to be in that would allow you to learn more about those topics and

The MSN in education is something I have passionate about for a long time now. The MSN from Benedictine University will help me reach my goal as being a more well-rounded, devoted professional nurse. I am very motivated and driven to be very successful in life. I always plan ahead and always looking for a way to better myself professionally. All of my life I have always tried to be the best prepared professional so I can have a career for the rest of my life that I can be proud of.

School Year Round Why would anyone want to go to school a year-round? (Rhetorical Question) School should be a year-round because then students will not forget their learning, be more focused on their education and it will be easier to earn their credits in a shorter period of time. Firstly, A school year-round should be offered each year so students will not forget the learning. Many students that come back from their summer break most likely struggle on what they have learned, for instance, everyone ignores most of the subjects and methods that everyone discovered last year.

It will be beneficial to choose from more desired classes junior year because you are finally given that opportunity. The electives you choose can help discover your passions and your career path. So if you choose to apply to college, you have background information from your electives that could prepare you for your major. If you feel overwhelmed, you could choose to take a study hall to relieve stress. During this period, you may work on your homework, study for tests, or take a break.

Elective can change the way students go through their life. Electives should be allowed to stay in middle and high schools because it can help students find their hidden talents, it can help them find their future job, and find ways to get better grades.

I am trying my best to keep up with all my classes and to get out of all of them with new information and high grade. In order to success in Spanish 111/181 class, I will spend about two hours outside class for every hour send in class, as well as I will keep an agenda for all the homework and assignments dues to do not forget any. There is a homework assignments and preparation that I have to do before each class; this allows me to create a schedule to when to study and do homework. For example, I will spend an hour each day after school preparing for next class, doing any homework, and studying. To learn the Spanish language, I will need to practice speaking and listening to Spanish, so I will try to contact with some of Hispanic friends using Spanish, as well as, listening to Spanish songs and try to understand them.

School is for learning and earning an education, and electives are just different styles of learning designed for different types of minds. In conclusion, the students of central high school receive a great benefit from these elective classes. Electives are needed for students to jumpstart their careers and express their talents in a mature, professional way. Doing away with electives would bring more harm than just fixing

Doing what I love and being able to support myself and loved ones is important to me. I am a very independent person and I like to do things my way. I like to set individual goals everyday, whether that means doing my homework before a certain time, or completing something for the week. They help me get my work done on time and efficiently.

It is essential that younger generations receive a quality education. Children all over the United States of America are being deprived of their schooling. Not all schools receive equal funding. Kids who grow up in less wealthy areas are less likely to receive a good education. Children are being set up for failure.
