Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer, born May 21, 1960, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, US is known to be responsible for the murders of 17 young men and boys between 1978 and 1991. 12 of these victims were killed in his apartment at 924 N 25th St, Milwaukee. Three other victims were murdered at Dahmer's Grandmother's house at 2357 South 57th Street in West Allis. 14 of Dahmer's victims were from various ethnic backgrounds, and 9 were black. Dahmer was adamant that race had nothing to do with it

James Holmes is one of the most recent serial killers to be caught and charged for what he had done. James killed 12 people and injured 70 others in mass shooting in movie theater in aurora colorado. People showed up to the movie theater expecting to watch the new batman but they got much more than they ever expected. The police station is only about a block away to the theater so the police did not take long to show up and they were able to take James down without having to kill or injure him.

Hi, I’m Haley Fox, a detective for the “Virginia State Police Department.” Recently, it has been brought to my attention that a man, whom we do not know the name of, is going on a rampage, killing innocent people in their sleep. I’ve done some various research on this man, based on what we do know, which includes digging up some of his records here with the police department. Strangely enough, we’ve noticed that this isn’t the first time that this man has killed someone. This unexplained killing, and the reason behind the killing, has led us to believe that maybe this man is crazy.

This allowed him to move to several places and have not one, but multiple crime scenes. His first murder was in his parents’ house, where no one noticed what he did. Jeffry’s house was in West Allis, Wisconsin the house was a two story house and had a basement. It had a large back yard that connected with the woods.

John Peterson is 85 years old African American male that was born in Chicago and moved to Minneapolis Minnesota at the age of twenty. Throughout my interview with John, I was able to learn and gather some information regarding key historical events that took place in United States. Most importantly, he shared the impact those events had on his life and people around him. John was 38 years old when Martin Luther King, Jr was assassinated. Therefore, he was knowledgeable about civil right movements and racial problems that took place.

Mindhunter is show in which two FBI agents interview serial killers to try and find out more about why they committed the crimes that they did. The show takes place in the late 1970’s and during this time people thought people committed crimes like murder because it was just their nature and they were born like that. Agent Holden Ford doesn’t buy this and he thinks their has to be a better reason as to why the serial killers committed the crimes that they did. The two agents then get the opportunity one day to interview the serial killer Ed Kemper who killed numerous women. Kemper seems to them like a regular guy, but Kemper then reveals that he wasn’t born with all this anger that made him commit the murders, but instead this anger came from

Scott Peterson, a husband, father, and fertilizer salesman went fishing on Christmas Eve when the unimaginable happened. His wife, Laci Peterson, went missing and all the evidence pointed to him, the spouse. The couple had lived in a house about 90 miles away from San Francisco in Modesto, California. On December 24, 2002, Laci Peterson went missing, but three months later was found near her unborn child at the Berkeley Marina.

In the beginning of this episode they believe the killer is after a certain type of victim because they were all brunette college females who were the victims. The way the killer posed the victims after he had murdered them made them believe that it was a sign of remorse. He laid their hands over there heart as if trying to give them back some dignity.

John Wayne Gacy is a serial killer who killed 33 people in total. He was born on May 17th 1942 in Chicago where he was physically and verbally abused by his father. Since this age he showed unusual behaviours and avoiding society, but then was determined that he has a psychological disorder. He moved to Los Angeles and was living a normal life however he started showing his real face in 1968 where he raped a young, male employee.

In the Netflix series “The Following,” A college professor by the name of Joe Carroll turned into the most ruthless serial killer of all time. He taught about the literature of Edgar Allen Poe. One aspect of Poe was that he believed there too be a certain poeticism in death, and more specifically, the death of a beautiful woman. Carroll became so wrapped up in his own teachings, that he began killing beautiful women himself. But did the subject of Poe really transform Carroll, or did it just edge on an innate killer?

Edward Spreitzer Edward Spreitzer was born on January 5, 1961 in Chicago Illinois and is a known serial killer. Throughout his whole life, Spreitzer did not get along with his stepfather and was often bullied as a child. Around 18 years old, Spreitzer was asked to leave home when he was involved in a horrific car accident. After leaving, Spreitzer eventually met Robin Gecht, where he joined his satanic cult. Due to Spreitzers’ low IQ of 76, many people believe this was a factor in why he was so easily manipulated.
