Support: Eric Thomas, the author of the book ‘The Secret to Success’, once said about success that whatever paths taking us to success, at some point we all have to go through the boulevard of hard work. Example: If you want to achieve success, hard work and dedication are the second element after explicit plans. In addition, we had better take responsibility for our tasks. None can help us to fulfil our targets but ourselves, hence learning to bear responsibility is very essential. “Define success on your own terms, achieve it by your own rules, and build a life you’re proud to live,” quoted Anne Sweeney, formerly the co-chair of Disney Media, President of the Disney–ABC Television Group, and the President of Disney Channel. In this quote, Anne wanted everyone to know that everyone has their own definitions of success and have their own ways to get their. Two ways that people define success is being happy or satisfied with what they love doing and reaching their goals after obstacles. These two features can be seen in the books, The Outliers, The Last Lecture, Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul and the article, Catching Kayla, by Digital Sports News. “Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome,” stated
Do more right things than wrong things and success is inevitable."
One of the newest fads in motivational expression is, “Do something with your life!” A more common one is, “Just do it!” (Nike) Most sayings like these imply that oneself is the sole factor that arbitrates whether someone achieves their dreams and that perseverance is what will take them there.
People believe in working hard for what you want. “Nothing should be easily given. It has no value that way.” ( Not specified). This quote teaches us that we should try our best and work hard to achieve the highest degree of satisfaction.
Former U.S. National Security Advisor, Colin Powell, once said, “A dream doesn’t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination, and hard work”. Michael Jordan put in a great amount of effort and practice every day to become a famous basketball player. Tim Cook always worked harder than everyone else to become Apple’s CEO. Howard Schultz put in extra time and work to become the Starbucks CEO. Hard work and determination always lead to success.
George Washington won only three battles in the revolutionary war. yet he never gave up, and when victory came, it counted. British general Cornwallis, who surrendered at Yorktown ending the war said to Washington, "I salute you not only as a great leader, but as an indomitable gentleman who wouldn 't give up.

Each individual approaches their own unique interpretation about the true meanings of any word or phrase. To many, success comes to those who truly desire greatness in the world. People are told at a young age that the main focus in life is to succeed into becoming someone great in the world. Success can be defined by many different perspectives. Without having a sense of what people see as their purpose, they are unable to determine what yardstick they should set. The Truth About Positive Thinking And How To Make It Work For You It is my experience that "positive thinking" is misunderstood by the masses to permit an avoidance of personal responsibility - similar to how people think that praying for The God Energy to fix a situation while they sit in front of the TV and take no action themselves is going to make a difference. Many people misuse the concept of positive thinking to support their laziness in terms of how positive thinking does/does not work for them. There's a reason for the adage: "God helps those who help themselves."
