Many students that know uniforms will be beneficially, but don’t agree with school uniforms will continue to disagree with implementing them. It can be easily agreed that school uniforms may take away their self-expression in school, but what matters more in school is the way of learning. It can also be agreed that many students do not accept the self-expression of their classmates and make fun of them. Students, parents, and school administration should be able to recognize the benefits that school uniforms come with. In conclusion, school uniforms are a great thing to have in schools. Even though there is that argument on whether school uniforms will violate the right of self-expression to students it will continue either way. At the end of the day students should see that there are more positive effects with uniforms rather than negative ones. It should be taking in consideration that the clothes a student wears will not determine the ability of learning, but why not pick school uniforms that can help stop current school
This is one of those debates that happens over and over again. My judgement on school uniforms is a yes and a no. It would stop bullying over clothing but it basically tells the kids that they can’t express themselves at school. School uniforms would stop distractions but the children would feel like they can’t show their differences in clothing like some kids like colorful stuff and some have traditional clothing and some like certain things that they like to dress in. School uniforms are not a bad idea but the flaw is how the uniforms affect the students minds.

Many people say that school uniforms shouldn’t be worn in public schools, while others disagree. Despite the debate, there shouldn't be a need to wear school uniforms. School Uniforms should not be worn because they violate a humans right of freedom of expression.
Imagine how delighted parents would feel if they reduced their back-to-school spending by hundreds upon hundreds of dollars as a result of not investing in designer clothes for their children to wear to school. Envision a student roaming down the congested hallway at school not having to fret about someone teasing them because of their outfit. Picture a school that is safe, content, and unified. With school uniforms, all of this is viable. First of all, uniforms save parents heaps of money.
Envision waking up every morning to put on the same outfit and walk out the door, stress free. People would not have to worry about what fits, or what is fashionable at the time. Schools would not have to worry about inappropriate clothing but at the same time, that clothing may be a way for a student to express himself. Many schools view uniforms as a solution to several problems, but many schools view uniforms as a lack of self expression. School uniforms should continue, even though children may not get to express themselves, because they prohibit violence, provide cheaper lifestyles, and promote better education.
Have you ever had to wear the same thing every day? Well, that’s what kids in most schools every day. Every day, more and more schools add uniforms to their dress codes. These uniforms are usually very bland and uncomfortable. But, schools still enforce them.

Well, many students around the world sacrifice all 5, or even 6 days a week to wear the uncomfortable school uniforms for approximately 3 to 15 years of their life. Ties, buttons, thick textured clothing, socks, shoes and even hairstyles with chosen colour; schools with mandatory system of wearing uniforms set these kinds of dress codes for students to wear whenever they attend classes. Remember the long dark pants and skirts with thick jackets and shirts that you had to put on every time you went to school? I am pretty sure you could relate to these students of how irritating those were and how you wanted to go home quick just to take the uniforms off back in those days.
School uniforms give students a sense of unity because they feel like they can fit in without fear of being too different. Making a dress uniform mandatory will decrease sexual harassment, create more interesting humans and make schools safer. A school uniform would make schools safer. It actually has a lot of benefits like reducing distractions, reducing peer pressure or bullying, saving money, and enhancing school pride. At first glance, fashion might seem to have very little to do with learning, but as the saying goes, the clothes makes the student. Mandatory uniform policy has made a distinct difference in many schools. School uniforms will keep students focused on their education, not their clothes. We all know that school uniform is a special kind of clothing that is worn by all the students, group or an organization. One school might require white button-down shirts and ties for boys, pleated skirts for girls and blazers adorned with the school logo for all. Another school may simply require that all shirts have collars. On our generation today, this may not be the favorite ingredients outfit of a teenager. We may prefer to wear clothing that will make us feel more attractive.
In the article of Dr. Alan Hilfer from 2009, “Disadvantages of a School Uniform Policy” stated that “We need free thinking children of to become thinkers of tomorrow, not droned who will continue making the mistakes of previous generations”(Hilfer, 2009). Feelings on school uniforms seem to differ as much as the reasons for having them, hate it, or love it. Recent studies done in the University of Alabama states that: “Student Uniform use was not significantly correlated with any of the school commitment variables. In addition, students wearing uniforms did not appear to have any significantly different academic performance” (Brunsma & Rockquemore, 1998). The problem whether schools should still be continuously implemented is a highly debatable topic.
