Personal Narrative: My Move To Georgia

When I Went To Florida I went to Florida after 4th grade in the summer. When we went to Florida, Jaxon my sisters, brother came with us. The night before we left he stayed at my house. When we left the next morning we left at 3:00 A.M. While we were on our way we both had to sit in the very back of the car because my sisters came with us. The ride there was not fun at all.

I had no idea about what I was going to find in Little Rock. First of all, I have been enjoying my groups company, I feel that we’re more close and united after that trip. Therefore, I liked a lot traveling there with them and I also adored the highway. It’s wonderful to admire nature while you are on the road, it reminded me some speedways in Mexico. For me, one of the most interesting places there was High Central.

My dad moved to Tennessee. He said that he needed to leave Wisconsin. He was depressed and that he would be a lot happier if he was in Tennessee by my grandma. He wanted to go down there to get his diploma and live a better life. I didn’t understand what was so different about Wisconsin.

There is such a place called Nashville in the state of Georgia! If I am not mistaken, there is a Nashville in every Southern state in honor of the Revolutionary War hero General Francis Nash . He was a native Virginian reared in North Carolina, who through his military service brought notoriety to the Nash name. If I am wrong about there being a Nashville in each Southern state, I know of at least two, my hometown, and some other place where they sing country music or something.

Throughout my life, I have traveled to many different cities in the United States. Unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to experience staying in a different country or foreign culture for an extended period. One experience that I experienced culture shock in would be my travels to Mississippi. About six years ago, I joined my grandmother’s family in their travel to her native hometown of Holly Springs, Mississippi to visit her relatives.

5 years ago, one fresh midnight, arrived to a new place in Atlanta Georgia that our life forever changed. There were plenty of cars, trees, and building. It is fairly cold and the wind is blowing like the tree arms dance. Many lights that can be seen shine through the windows of buildings at night time. It quiet outside.

I decided to talk about how I 've never been out of the state. I have been able to go somewhere many times and it never happens. Everyone in my family has been out of the state many times but me. Everyone always talks about how they went out of the state for vacation but I can talk about going out of the state because I haven 't ever been out of the state.

I have missed you so much this summer; I wish you hadn’t been away the entire time. I can’t wait for you to tell me all about Germany and the amazing things you did while you were there! Anyways, this summer, I have had so much fun, between traveling, concerts, spending time with my friends, and reading. I started my summer off by flying to Clearwater, Florida.

My bags were completely packed for our upcoming trip to Charleston, South Carolina. I had been waiting for this seemingly perfect trip for the whole summer. When we arrived at our cabin, it was less than what we expected; much less. The private cottage was extremely outdated. When we first walked in, you could hear my mother shriek after she spotted a cockroach near the fireplace.

One day in July, my Aunt Beeh asked me and my sister Tiffany if we could pick up her daughters’ from their dads’ house in Atlanta. We both knew that our mom wouldn’t have a problem with us taking a day trip to Atlanta. However we knew our dad would say no. Our mom just told us “Just tell him you’re going halfway to pick them up.” And that’s exactly what we did.

As a small child, I grew up in India, a place well known for its cultural, linguistic and genetic diversity. As a child I have lived in many different places. As my dad climbed up the corporate ladder, we relocated to five different states in India. Each move made me stronger as I had to continuously get used to different schools, teaching methods and still adapt to the different environments. After each move, I had to make new friends and start over each time.

I'm exploring various areas for retirement, which presently includes Raleigh/Durham, and possibly Asheville, for visits up to six months of the year. Hopefully, I will be lucky to meet acquaintances who are similar in age who are willing to connect without the need for a rushed relationship. I would like to settle down but I am realistic and will admit that I am careful. I am hopeful for a mature commitment in the future. An important aspect is flexibility as my lifestyle involves travel, which is unavoidable.

The plan is to meet in Atlanta and fly out to Arkansas together. However I wonder how you might feel about altering this plan. I could head north to Kentucky to see my family the week of Thanksgivings (taking vacation this week), leave the bulk of the kids with family. The wife, my youngest, and I drive or fly over from Kentucky that weekend (28th/29th).

My transition from small town Fairmount, GA to Adairsville has impacted my life through developing friendships, learning about myself, and learning about different communities. I was raised in a small town where everyone knew

There was a running stream that ran from north to south a few meters away from where we were sitting, the fizzing of the leaves above us from the pine trees was very soothing and an eerie coyote cry made the night even more interesting. We were at the back porch playing fish or cut bait, a pretty simplistic but yet challenging board game that tested your ability to do fast decisions that wouldn 't affect the rest of your turn in the game. We had simple snacks and a charming background acoustic guitar playing, the crickets harmonized with the night and the crew, a group of five teenagers, where just having the time of our lives. Our trip to Georgia was more than what I expected, it seemed that the only bad thing about it was the way over there,
