The best presidents are ones with some style. All accomplishments and achievements to the side, a president should be memorable. Nobody does that better than Teddy Roosevelt. Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt is the best President to ever serve the United States of America because of his accomplishments in both his professional life and his personal life, along with his larger than life personality, and also because the American people loved him. Teddy Roosevelt had many “firsts.” He was the first ever American to win the Nobel Peace Prize. He won for negotiating peace in the Russo-Japanese war of 1904-5 (Abrams). He was the first president ever to have received the Medal of Honor. He was recognized for his “conduct in frontline fighting in Cuba in 1898,” (Willbanks). As a Lieutenant Colonel, Teddy led a daring charge up San Juan Hill. The reasoning for Roosevelt’s recognition is as follows: “Facing the enemy's heavy fire, he displayed extraordinary bravery throughout the charge, and was the first to reach the enemy trenches, where he quickly killed one of the enemy with his pistol, allowing his men to continue the assault. The United States has had very many heros that served as our presient. Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and George Washington are all heros and were a very important part of our society. They all did everything they could do to make this world a better place, yet they all had their differences in going about doing it. But i will have to say that the strongest president was Thomas Jefferson. Thomas was one of the smartest men to live and not only was he very smart but he had a desire to constantly learn new things.
The greatest president that has ever served the United States is George Washington. He was not only the first president of the United States but also the commander in chief of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. He was victorious over the British and quickly became a hero doing so. He helped draft the constitution and with his leadership and courage. As first president, he become a role model for every other present succeeding him and helped create our countries values that we cherish so much today.
Prior to losing the election of 1912, he helped the U.S with by doing anything he could to uphold America and its citizens. He also aided in American access to the Panama Canal. On economical terms, Roosevelt was the trust-buster, breaking all of the bad trusts in big businesses. He also was the president who enforced the Sherman Antitrust Act. Socially, he preserved millions of acres of land, entitling citizens to interact and have leisure time, and wildlife to prosper.

Roosevelt believed that the President had the right to use all power unless they were denied to him. Also, that he has a responsibility to the people, and so challenged himself to avoid notions of limited government and individualism; the government he controlled should maintain as an agent who should give the people what they want.
