Hamilton Vs Adams Although the United States was just a newly formed government, there were still multiple disputes on how the federal government should attend to foreign and state affairs. When it came to foreign affairs Hamilton and Adams both wanted the United States to try and remain neutral, but Hamilton, in the end, was more willing for the new country to go to war. They both agreed however that the country should have a strong central government. John Adams and Alexander Hamilton were originally from the same political party, both being Federalist.

Abigail Adams was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts in 1744. She had a brother and two sisters. John Adams was the husband of Abigail, he was the second president of the United States . John Quincy Adams was Abigail Adams son who after became the sixth president of the United States. Adams did not attend school, which was common for girls at the time.

John Quincy Adams and Abigail Adams are both significant people in American History. Both big historical great human beings that play wonderful parts in our history. Both who onced lived in the White House, who voiced their opinions, and were well known. Despite the fact, both had the same historical beliefs, they also had many differences. Even though they share many similarities, they also have many differences.

The president I pick was John Quincy Adams. He was the first president that was a son of the former president John Adams. For his early career he was a defending lawyer. Latter, he served one term of vice president under Monroe and when he got into president office he appointed Henry Clay as Secretary of State. As president he urged America to be the leading country in Arts and Science while trying to get freedom for blacks.

I chose to research Samuel Adams. He was a representative of Massachusetts and in the continental congress, I believe. Samuel Adams is an incredibly notable figure in the history of American Politics. Being the second cousin of Former American President John Adams (probably), Samuel was a natural statesman making a great impact in the birth of modern day United States. He was a key figure who started out the revolutionary movement which later went on to become the American Revolution.

John Adams was such a crucial asset to what American history is today. Weather he was acting as a loyar, critic, or leader he has impacted America in some of the greatest ways possible. He was there for our country with bravery and strength as he stood by the rights of the people always putting them first. Aside from being a delegate of the Constitutional Convention John Adams served as a diplomat in Europe, contributed in the negotiation of the Treaty of Paris, and was America’s first vice president and second president. His ableness to conquer all of these achievements didn’t just come out of thin air it started with his early life.

Washington had a tight grip on the country at the time, and was able to lead that country in war at any time. John Adams was still a founding father of the United States and did many great things in and out of office. John Adams was born on October 30, 1735 in Quincy, Massachusetts. He grew up with two brothers, Peter and Elihu Adams. At the age of 16, Adams went to Harvard and eventually graduated in 1755.

John Quincy Adams is known as a pretty decent president. In a C-SPAN poll he was ranked number nineteen. He was very passionate about freedom of speech and universal education. His first year in office he had ideas that would help promote science and he saw the need for practical solutions to universal problems. He wanted to help the United States with his new ideas.

The Electoral College unanimously elected me, Washington, as the first president in 1789, and again in 1792. I remain the only president to receive the totality of electoral votes. John Adams, who received the next highest vote total, was elected Vice President. When I won the presidential election of 1789 with 69 votes in the electoral college, Adams came in second with 34 votes and became Vice President. Due to a delay in the decision of the electoral college, Adams first presided over the Senate on April 21.

Henry Adams (1838-1918), American author, historian, and critic is most famous for his memoir The Education of Henry Adams (1918) which he was posthumously awarded the Pulitzer Prize for in 1919. Henry Brooks Adams was born on 16 February 1838 in Boston, Massachusetts. His parents were Charles Francis Adams (1807-1886), diplomat and writer, and Abigail Brown Brooks (1808-1889). Being the great-grandson of the second American President John Adams, and the grandson of the sixth President John Quincy Adams provided for a certain number of advantages in young Henry 's life. He spent much time in the summers at his grandfather 's home, and was surrounded by culture and wealth.

They had six children, though one died as a toddler. Another one of their children was John Quincy Adams, who later became the sixth president. Abigail Adams’ hobby was horseback riding, but family was more important. She spent most of her adult life taking care of her children and keeping up on the family farm. Abigail’s job was being the first lady.

There was a threat made to Adams by Alexander Hamilton. Then General Henry Knox tried to persuade Adams that he was too projecting to serve under Washington. The first vice President took office on April 21st, 1789, John Adams. As leader of the Senate, Adams recommended his companion, Samuel Allyne for Senate. Washington did not consult Adams about foreign policy matters often.

It’s hard to defer whether or not John Adams was an effective president because, although many historians believe that Adams was correct in not expanding the naval war with France into a conflict which saved many people’s lives, there were things that he established and believed that completely contradicted the newly established constitution. This could’ve put America into jeopardy. These things included the belief that the executive branch should stand above politics, his agreement to sign the Alien and Sedition Acts, and the fact that mostly of the people in the United States, including his own party, turned away from his ideas, which definitely did not make him the most effective president. They where John Adams and Thomas Jefferson and they fought to be the next president. They didn’t always fight they where friends, but since they couldn’t agree on how to run the country should be run, they had to fight for it. John won first, but then Thomas became president and they both made the people happy and free.
