Eliezer or “Elie” Wisel was a Romanian-born American Jewish writer, professor, political activist, Nobel Laureate and Holocaust survivor. Elie was also the narrator in the novel Night. A major point discussed by Elie was how we as the future generation should remember the victims of the Holocaust. Wisel points out that “To forget the dead would be akin to killing them a second time.” In other words, if we don’t learn from history it is bound to repeat itself.

Night is just one of many memoirs written by Eliezer Wiesel, who survived the vicious and the infamous Holocaust during the calamitous WWII. The renowned legend Eliezer Wiese, including his book Night, showed a variety of different concepts as in his dauntlessness, intrepidity, and sanguineness for his desire to survive. During this period he faced many tribulations as in tyrannical hardships; he experienced many spiritual differences as well. He had to face many crucibles during his time in the Holocaust. Night is one big predicament which includes many lessons of life.

The book night is about a kid and his family and friends getting sent to a concentration camp. While they’re there, they met people and lost people and Elie lost faith in God, himself, and his fellow man. He lost his faith in God when he thought he was going to walk into the fire and die, Lost faith in himself when he wanted to attack the man that attacked his dad, and lost faith in his fellow man when he lied to Stein about his family being alive then he found out. First, Wiesel and his father met their cousin, Stein. Stein asked them if they knew if his family was alive or not and if they weren’t he wouldn’t want to live anymore.

It is set during the Holocaust and tells the story of a young boy named Elie Wiesel who was taken with his family from their home in Sighet, a small town in Transylvania to a concentration camp. The book covers the horrific experiences of the author and his family as they are subjected to unimaginable suffering including starvation, torture, and madness. Elie Wiesel narrates the account himself with brutal honesty, taking his readers through the darkest moments of his life with vivid descriptions.

Night is a book written by Elie Wiesel in which he tells his stories and experiences in the Nazi concentration camps at Auschwitz and Buchenwald during the Holocaust and Second World War. I would recommend Night because it’s written by someone who felt the horror of the Nazism in his own skin, so the book really shows the reality of the death camps and the atrocities that happened there. It is important to study and know about the Holocaust because it’s a terrible event which, in a historic perspective, occurred not long ago and its effects are still present in today’s society in such a negative way. The Holocaust did not only affect the people who died at the concentration camps, it also affected the survivors and the rest of the whole

In the memoir,night,by elie wiesel he recounts the horrors that occurred during the holocaust. In the first chapter elie wanted to be really big on religion with him and his religion teacher and during this time mooshie the teacher was taken to the camps and he faked his death and what he saw terrorized him for life. What Mooshie saw was the Germans and people that worked for hitler were using baby jews as target practice.and whenever mooshie came back he tried to tell the other jews of what he had saw and they thought that he was lying so they didnt do anything about what he had said so then later that night. Hitler Came with the germans and they put them on an cattle cart.

I don’t think there is another quote out there that can better summarize life under Nazi rule. I think that this quote really gets the point across that if you see something terrible happening, and don’t try to stop it you’re just as bad as the person doing it. This really tells me that you can’t be afraid to speak up for something that is wrong, even if it means death. The quote mentions that if you stand by and lets all these bad things happen, that you are as guilty as the people doing them. I think that is very true, the counties who sat by and watched the holocaust happen are just as bad as the Nazis.

The book I read was NIght by Elie Wiesel. This book was published in 1958. Elie Wiesel was a well known author. He recently passed away July 2nd, 2016. He wrote many books: Night, Day, Dawn, and The Oath.

Elie Wiesel wrote a book to leave a legacy. He wanted to leave a memory that is more than just a story passed down from generation to generation. He wrote the book “Night” to show a story of survival and a reminder of what hate can do to people. He begins his story describing his life in the concentration camp filled with murder and fear. Elie describes how he survived his horror using his faith in God and determination to live.

The Red Cross, was for the most part, what kept prisoners' hopes high, yet could have prevented the Holocaust before it was too late by simply speaking up.

The novel Night is a terrifying story that reveals the horrors of the Holocaust. The author Elie Wiesel,winner of the 1986 Nobel Peace Prize and a Holocaust survivor, published this award winning book in the year 1956. He wrote this novel to tell about his experiences with his father in the Nazi Germany concentration camps at Auschwitz and Buchenwald in 1944-1945. Now his word and his story has gotten to the public so now we all now know and understand the horror of the Holocaust.

The time zone is 1939, time of the Holocaust was occurring. This fantastic event would impact the character in many different ways. For example, when we are introduced to the main character she wasn't in such a good place. She was getting on a train with her mother and younger brother for a reason that might be so her mother can give them up to their foster parents. However before they could reach their new home, a great tragedy has become of Liesel (the main character).

Did the Holocaust really happen? How are the Nazi’s let alone anyone else capable of this amount of this amount of trouble? A lot of people don 't think that the holocaust even really happened, personally I believe that it did. There are many different reasons on why the holocaust supposedly never happened but the most consistent, well believed one is that no human being is capable of causing this much torture and pain onto another person. You have probably learnt about The Holocaust from either books or in your history classes in school, but what they probably didn 't tell you that some people believe that The Holocaust never even happen.

In the book Night by Elie Wiesel, it talks about how his time in the concentration and how they were treated, and what he thought about. He talks about how they were treated brutally and unfairly just because of their religion. How they were forced to live in poor conditions, and how they were promised a better life if they came with them. That promise was broken as soon as they got to their first concentration camp. When they first go their they saw the smoke coming from the chimneys and the smelling of burning flesh.

The excerpt called ‘Night’ is a story about a man named ‘ Elie Wiesel’ telling the reader about how he survived the holocaust and what happened during the holocaust. As the plot grows more and more, so does the dangers of the holocaust becomes more rapid. A man named ‘ Moishe the Beadle’ who was a foreigner before the time of the holocaust, who smiled and talked about his God a lot and singged for the people and sometimes himself, came into the city running and screaming out that the jewish people should run away and hide. The jewish didn’t believe him or choose not to. They thought that Moishe wasn’t telling the truth because of how he was acting.
